When The Leaves Fall

The tears streamed down my face

I tried screaming as loudas I could

Tried makingmyself heard

But, I was mute

I will be as silent as a tree

All you can hear are the rustling leaves

Soon, it'll be November

But my words got stuck in September

My spirit was lost as one leaf fell

And my heart ached more as the churchrang their bells

I screamed for the angels to come save me

No one ever came for me

Am I dead yet?

No, I am just silent.

Please save the helpless

Tell them they are not worthless

Don't let the fall take another friend away

Making fun of other's is child's play

Grow up people

Look to the sun

You may not see it much anymore

Which iswhy it's worth something

Just promise me you will remember one thing-

When the leaves fall
