Hey guys, thank you for choosing this story. This chapter will be more of a setting chapter so I apologize if it is a bit dull. Please rate and tell me if you like it!I let out a loud groan as I rolled over, the sun shining through my curtains straight into my eyes. I definitely didn't want to be up at eight in the morning on a Sunday, but I had to finish unpacking my things. Moving into college housing was my parents idea, they wanted me to have the whole college experience. So far it was just like I pictured it. My roommate had her boyfriend over the first night and they were obnoxiously loud all night. I got lost trying to find a decent restaurant to eat and I had my ass smacked multiple times. Now, I wouldn't mind it if they were girls smacking my ass but guys, I could care less about.
"Brook! Oh my god, you're here. I need your help. " Chloe, my roommate shrieked as she stepped into my room. She wasn't that bad of a girl, we got along really well when she didn't have her tongue down her boyfriends throat. "Some of my friends and I are going to the pizza place down town and I don't want to go alone. Please, please will you come with me? " She pouted, her bright pink lips making a pouty face. She was hot, I had to admit it but she wasn't my type. I let out a sigh and ran a hand through my dyed red hair. I was definitely not your average girl, my hair was red and my eyes were a bright green. I wasn't very girly but I wasn't butch by far. The side of my head was shaved, I was one for standing out in a crowd that was for sure.
"Can we go shopping first? I need a few things from the mall. " I asked as I got up off the floor. I had finally finished unpacking my clothes, not that I really had much. I left most of it back home so I could get a fresh start in my wardrobe. "Yeah, we don't have to be there until like two so we have awhile. Will you drive though? I'm not very good at driving down town. " She huffed and dropped herself on my bed. Chloe was a pretty clean person the only time we have had issues so far was when her boyfriend, Andrew, was over. He tossed his clothes all over the living room floor, food wrappers on the counters and table and hair all over in the sink. It was honestly repulsive to see. One of the many reasons I didn't like men, not that girls weren't dirty. There were definitely many women that couldn't even keep their nails clean, let alone a room. I had finished changing into my clothes when there was a loud knock on the door, sighing softly I opened the door to a small blonde girl with a stack of papers in her hands. "Good morning! My name is Kelly and I'm this streets RA! I'm gets to give you your schedule of school events going on this month as well as the rules for the houses and your day planner! If you need anything I live at the end of the street, don't worry I have fairy lights framing my for! Hard to miss! " She handed over the papers before all but skipping to the next house. She was definitely far too excited about rules and school events. "Chloe can we get out of here before tinker bell comes back? " I groan as I shut the door, looking up the stairs towards the bathroom. I was thankful that we had our own rooms, I'd go nuts sharing a room with someone else. I wasn't really one for wearing pajamas, they were itchy and a pain. Chloe hopped out of the bathroom and nodded, her blonde curls bouncing around as she came down the stairs. "Yes, let's go. I need more clothes anyways. " She smiled and grabbed her jacket out of the closet before heading out the front door. God I really hope I don't get lost on my way to the mall.
