*Alexa's POV*
It's moving day, why is my life so incredibly difficult. Let me explain... When I was 7 my dad got a work offer, being a judge in Virginia. It was a really big opportunity and my dad (Nick) wasn't in the position to turn it down. My dad was so very heart broken because mother (Julie) wasn't wanting to budge. My dads employer gave him two months to accept or decline the offer. My mum couldn't bare to move from her parents/my grandparents. They started fighting over moving and me. The fighting got so bad that they divorced. And dad moved away. Because he was/is so busy with his job I lived with my mum in California. I would visit my dad in the holidays, I really missed him. But now my mum is depressed, no one knows what's wrong, it couldn't be dad, they broke up 6 years ago (I'm 13 now). And so my grandparents thought it would be best to move in with dad for a while considering she is unfit to parent me. Anyway my dad has a new wife now and she's really looking forward to test out parenting, I think my dad is planning on having another child, which to my surprise I am really excited about because want a sibling. I said my goodbyes and got on the plane.
