"Care to explain what's so amusing?" Cody spat out at Jack. If he hates anything, it's his siblings sneaking into his mini parties and even more when Tracy picks a fight.
Jack's eyes widened and he quickly looked away. Cody Ryne is not a pleasant person when he is pissed and by the look on his face it showed he was beyond it. Cody's eyes landed on Justin and just like that his body went rigid.
Great.
Prefect.
"Justin and Tracy were just sharing their opinion on who should be football captain this year. Justin thinks it should be him obviously and Tracy thinks it should be..." Who the hell should I say? "Jack! But Jack doesn't believe he is better than Justin. You know how siblings are." I gave a nervous laugh and hoped to God he believed me.
Of course he didn't.
I expected him to deem us upstairs and not come back out until everyone leaves instead. Instead he laughed quietly, "Umm,.." he trailed off and looked at someone behind me.
Stranger Guy laughed for whatever reason and soon Cody joined him. Cody's laugh was't as light and smooth as the man that stood behind me. In a matter of seconds both men were laughing so hard they had to bend over for air.
I narrowed my eyes at Cody though it was the guy behind me that caused all the laughter but something told me I wouldn't be able too keep my serious look if I looked at the Stranger. "I don't appreciate being laughed at."
"I don't appreciate being lied to." Cody stopped laughing then, squinting his eyes at Justin and back at me.
What did I do to deserve that look?
"I so didn't lie." I lied again.
"Hmmm, well anyways keep these two apart." He looked over at Tracy and Justin and back at me. "I don't feel like knocking pretty boy out over here cause he pissed off Tracy."
Like brother like sister.
Grinning I nodded and pulled Tracy away before she could say anything else to provoke the men. Knowing her she would probably complain about how she didn't need Cody defending her and lets just say she might add some words that shall never be said. Knowing Cody he would drag us back upstairs by our own feet and have someone watch the door. Cody reminds me so much of my own brother aside from the fact that he still lives with his parents and never had a stable relationship that lasted longer than a month.
Our backs were to the guys we just left, a part of me didn't want to leave Stranger Guy behind.
"Stop staring!" Tracy grabbed my chin and made me face her again. "Gosh he is such a hottie." I saw her sneaking a glance at him before looking at me.
"What?" she asked innocently. "Don't give me that look."
"What look?" I laughed knowing exactly what look she is talking about.
"That!" She exclaimed pointing a figure at my face. She tried to master a horrified look while biting her lower lip innocently. A look she learned from me.
Grinning I pushed her hand away from my face before she could poke my eye out. "God only know's where your finger has been."
Tracy barked out laughing startling the couple next to us. They grumbled something not very nice before resuming to their intense make out.
