"Achooo," I sneezed.
I had been home all week with a cold. Thankfully my boyfriend Drake was here to take care of me. He did everything right. He cooked,cleaned,comforted, and still made time to work on his music.
At the moment chills were racking my body. Sometimes I was extremely hot and sometimes I was freezing. The chills were the worst of the two.
"Aubrey!" I called, I had just ran out of medicine and I needed him to bring me more.
"What's wrong baby," he asked with a concerned look on his face.
"I ran out of medicine, can you go to Walgreens and get me more?"
"Of course I can."
As soon as he left it started to rain, and I feel asleep to the sound of it hitting the window.
"E, baby wake up, El,babe I need you to wake up."
"What going on?" I asked confused.
"Baby you were sleep to long, you gotta wake up, eat, and then take your medicine."
"Oh okay sure."
He handed me a bowl of chicken noodle soup with some crackers and orange juice. After I finished eating he handed me a pill and a glass of water. After I took my medicine he gave me some apple sauce as desert.
"I'm going to the studio for a minute just call me if you need anything, ok?"
"Aww no Aubrey I hate it when you leave!"
Drake thought to himself: You hate being alone well you ain't the only one..
"You hate it when I leave?" He asked as if he wanted to hear it again.
"Yes, I want you to stay and hold me."
"I will hold you when I come back, in the mean time why don't you read or watch tv?"
"Ugh ok I guess so."
"Don't be mad," he said then he hugged her and when he was about to kiss her she covered her mouth.
"No Aubrey, you can't kiss me, I'm sick and I don't want you getting sick."
"I can't kiss you?" He asked clutching his chest.
"No, I don't want you getting siiick," her teeth started to chatter as another spell of chills ran through her body.
Drake wrapped her up in a blanket. He pushed her down on the bed. Then he straddled her lap. He leaned in close then he kissed her cheek.
He pulled back to check her reaction. "Can I kiss you here?" He asked
Ellen blushed, "yes."
He kissed her forehead "here?" He asked.
"Yes," she said smiling
He then kissed her other cheek, her nose, even the space between her eyes. After each kiss he'd ask "here" and she'd reply with "yes".
He gave her a nice long hug, went to the studio and recorded a song called "Take Care".
Then he went to their bedroom where Ellen was watching Ellen. He changed into his pajamas. He got into bed, wrapped his arm around her. Kissed her neck, and then asked
"Here?"
