Morgan woke up with the feeling of his eyes being glued together, he was conscious but with his eyes closed, like if he had been sleeping for days. His body was tense, he could barley move. Slowly, he began to move a finger, then two and before he knew it he could already move his whole arm. Then, he opened his eyes, he saw nothing but a blur at first but everything seems to be more clear within time. A circular room surrounded him, "The Room of Mirrors" he thought. Morgan helped himself up causing pain all over his body and stared at his surroundings. Mirrors in different sizes and designs filled to room, some were broken and shattered. There was one mirror in particular from the whole batch that caught his attention, an oval shaped one with creepers growing around it. It somehow seemed magical, but Morgan was already used to that.

"You're late." said a voice from behind him. Morgan shifted his body, he faced a woman with a long black gown and long pinned up chocolate hair, in her hand rested a raven. His queen

"I didn't mean to your highness," he apologized, "I was having a hard time falling asleep." It was true, the spell that took him to The Room of Mirrors required him to fall asleep first.

"I thought so." she petted the creature with such kindness that Joseline, for the first time she seemed delicate and beautiful, "But I hate when you people make me make me wait."

She snapped the raven's neck and let the dead body hit the floor, the sound echoed across the room.

Morgan swallowed hard, he heart began to pump faster and the fear of death crossed his mind like a flash.

Joseline turned and walked towards the same mirror Morgan had noticed out of the others.

"It's pretty, isn't it?" When he didn't answer immediately, Joseline shot a deadly look at him.

"I'm sorry your highness," Morgan hesitated, "It's the the beautifulest object my eyes have seen."

Satisfied with his response, Joseline waved her hand for him to shut up.

"Before you were transported to this room you asked me back at the palace what I wanted from you, remember?" Morgan nodded, about two hours ago one of Joseline's guards had put him to sleep. He had thought that it was probably his end but apparently it had not, "It's not I what I want from you, but what you can do to help me."

"What could I possibly do for you, my lady?"

"In your pocket there is a sack, give it to me," she demanded.

Alarmed, Morgan brought his hand to the pocket on his pants. He felt a bump resting on his pocket, How did it get there? he thought. That hadn't been there a moment ago. But then, he remembered how powerful his queen was. Whatever she was planing had to be big and he was involved.

Morgan pulled the sack out of his pocket and approached the queen to give it to her, she accepted it.

Joseline emptied the sack with her hand. It was a pearl the size of her whole palm.

"W-what's that?" asked Morgan, terrified.

She gladly answered.

"This will help you see what needs to be done," Joseline, held the pearl in front of the mirror and nudged it. The mirror absorbed it.

"Come and take a look," Morgan walked slowly towards her, when he was near enough, Joseline waved her hand for him to stop.

"What I want you to do is simple, but will require some time to achieve, the sooner the better. In the land of the living, there is a girl..." Her voice trailed off as if she was worried about something, "Anyways, this girl can't live. If she lives I die and I can't permit it." She spat those last words with rage.

"You want me to kill her?"

"You need to kill her off."

Joseline grabbed Morgan by the shoulders and guided him towards the mirror.

"Take a look," she pushed Morgan's head in front of the mirror and she said, "Show me Nadia Lavender."

At first the only thing that Morgan could see was the his reflexion; dark hair and dark eyes, but then a cloud of fog, replaced it, followed by an unfocused image of a young beautiful girl. Behind the girl was a shop, she looked so ordinary that Morgan began to question his queen's demands. Why in the world would she want a specific girl's life to mess with if she had millions of people's lives to control? It made no sense.

"That girl is Nadia Lavender," Morgan looked at Joseline's eyes, worried of the sin she was going to make him commit.

"B-but, my lady, what does she owe you? Why is her death so important to you?"

"That is non of your concern, your duty is to end her. And as proof, you will bring me her heart."

"Her heart?"Morgan trembled.

"Yes, her heart, I want her last breath to be a suffocating one, I need you to rip her heart out of her chest and bring it to me."
