[<<<<<GRIM>>>>>]

Gloom encompass me about,

Eating away at me like lovers in a hapless bout.

My spark of Joy swallowed by shades of pain,

Leaving me dark and empty like a Grim.

Happiness within me is slain,

Even sparks of sarcasm seems to hang from nothing but a rim.

I have never felt the glow of my Heart so dim.

I slowly sink away into an ocean of hapless dreams,

Where everything is white, grey and black.

Indeed, a life of colour is what I lack,

Rainbows seem an imagination to my very own knowledge.

A shade of red, yellow, green or blue,

Is replaced by the dying shade of  a grayscale's edge.

Indeed I am grim,

Perverse and dull as life has made me.

Grim:  Someone who is dull, without life.
