Chapter 4

In the year of 170's, The Vekazis lived in the Forests of Mexico. Their leader Vatcha married a beautiful vampire Victoria and loved her devotedly. They had two daughters, Marina, Linda and a son, Doris. In Mexico, there was a huge temple where the leaders lived. The rest of the hundreds of vampires had their fortifications in the Forests. In the temple of Vekaz, the vampires lived secretly making the people believe they were Saints. But inside the temple, humans were secretly brought and were killed for their blood.

One day a vampire, Maria came in the temple and Vatcha eyed her from top to bottom. He secretly took her to a room and asked where she was living. She told him about the fortress and invited him in the nights. Soon all the colonies knew what Vatcha and Maria did at nights. It was enough for the eldest daughter Marina. She decided that she will follow her father and kill Maria for bringing shame to their family. Marina followed her father into the forests and as he entered the fortress, Marina went invisible and also entered. She heard Maria telling Vatcha to wait till she was in the other room dressing. Marina saw her opportunity and took out a knife. She had already planned from the temple that she will cut Maria's neck straight off the face. As soon as Marina grabbed Maria's neck, she shouted in such a shrilly voice even Marina's ears hurt. This made Vatcha immediately enter the room. He became shocked when he saw Maria fiddling with herself. But accidently Maria's hand touched the necklace Marina was wearing and soon she was visible. Not expecting this, she dodged her way out of Vatcha, went invisible again and ran at full speed towards the temple. The whole area had been suspicious by now in the Forests.

Marina quickly called Linda and Victoria and told them both what happened. Victoria's body went loose because of the shock and the fact that Vatcha will have all three of them killed. She told Marina and Linda to leave the country immediately and hide miles and miles away where Vatcha would not even think. Marina and Linda immediately went to Norway and later their Mother had sent two hundred of their well wisher vampires to give company. Soon it was time for the sunrise and Vatcha came straight towards Victoria and started strangling her and asked were those two bitches were. When she said she didn't know, Vatcha was just about to kill her when suddenly Doris came for rescue and pushed his father towards the wall. Victoria took deep breaths and Vatcha told her that she is not safe. He will come back for her.

Vatcha came to the temple often with black thunder cloud on his face and used to head straight towards Victoria in order to kill her but she was saved every time. Sometimes because of Doris, sometimes because of the guards and sometimes because of her luck. Her life was out of colors. She was only seventy years old. Quite juvenile because Vampires lived for three hundred years. But she started feeling like she was retired. Having been almost dead by Vatcha for seven times, she wanted to die for real. For once and for all. And Vatcha, who was living his life still with Maria. Careless about what would people say. But people didn't dare to say. Didn't dare to think. Because he was a man. He was the leader. Although they were vampires, they had traditions. They had shame. They had honor which was already on shame because of Vatcha.
