Chapter 1 The Party

"Caitryn. Mom wants you." My brother, Forneus says, looking at William and I as we walk back into the stable from horseback riding.

I pout.

"Can't mom wait?" I whine.

"No. She said it was important."

Forneus's eyes flashed purple like father's does when hes angry. Which is at least once a week. I glare at him, knowing he's only doing it to show off his power.

"Stop being a cocky bastard." I tell him.

"I'm not being a cocky bastard little sister. But at least I'm actually full demon. You're just half, and you're part neko like mom. I doubt you'll be a REAL demon like father and I." Forneus says calmly, blowing against my neko ears.

I growl at him.

"SHUT THE HELL UP! I WILL BE ONE! JUST WATCH!" I yell, lunging at him, about to whoop his cocky ass.

But William holds me back from punching my brother in his face.

But I smirk. He's gonna get in so much trouble.

"TATA!" I scream at the top of my lungs.

Forneus's eyes widen and he tries to run away as a shadow.

Father appears and grabs his shadow, pulling him back.

"What did you do?." Father asks, obviously annoyed.

"I- I did n- nothing-"

"He brought up that I'm not like you and mom." I whine, faking teary eyes.

Father looks at Forneus, his eyes now waning purple in anger.

"How many times have I warned you.?"

"I don't know...."

"It's been 113 times daddy...." I tell him quietly, sniffling.

"Forneus. You're grounded. Give me your orb." 

"But father!"

"I don't care. Give it to me."

Forneus not wanting to get into more trouble, hands over his orb.

"Thank you. No going into London for three weeks. And your mother will give you the other part of your punishment." Daddy tells him.

Father looks at me.

"If he does it again tell me okay? And your birthday party is in a few hours many people will be there. So you need to behave. I have a few more preparations so I'll see you at the party."

And with that father had disappeared.

I looked at Forneus and stuck my tongue out at him. 

"Cocky bastard~ You got in trouble!"

Forneus glared at me.

"Whatever. I'm done with you." He flicks my right cat ear then he leaves.

William sighs.

"You two fight too much."

I smile as Grell helps me adjust my dress.

"How old are you now darling? Sixteen?" Grell asks, helping me adjust my black and white dress.

"Yes I am, I'm so excited! By tonight at midnight I show be like mom and dad!"

Grell smiles, looking up at me dreamily.

"You look so much like your father~" Grell sighs happily.
