Like I told Haru we would be going to the hospital next Thursday, and Thursday is today. "I'm about to die inside." said Haru trying to stay calm. "I know how you feel, I'm nervous too because I'm the one they have to put all those weird machines and stuff on." I said also trying to stay calm.
We reached the front desk were three ladies were sat on different sides of the large roundish desk. Haru approached the first one he saw, an elderly woman who was wearing a brightly colored blouse and a plaid skirt. "Hello, how may I help you today?" she said staring at my now large stomach. "My wife and I scheduled an appointment for an ultrasound. What room do we go to?" Haru asked more politely than u thought he would. "Well I need your names to find your appointment and room number." she asked politely. "Oh, sure their Haru and Miko." he said hugging me tightly. "Let's see... um...Ah! Here we go, room 319 on the 3rd floor." she said looking up at us instead of at her paper. "Thank you so much!" I said as we walked toward the elevator.
-in the hospital room-
"Alright, how many months pregnant are you?" the doctor asked. "6 months." I answered looking over at Haru who was nervously bicycling his fingernails. "And last question, are you considering adoption?" the doctor asked. At first I wanted to say some thing like My husband is here with me and I have no other kids and you think I'm considering adoption! But I just ended up saying "No, I'm not considering it." I said very assertively, as Haru nodded at me.
-30 minutes later-
"Okie dokie, we have concluded our tests and ultrasound. And would like to know what gender?" he asked intriguingly. "Yes please!" I asked very excited with Haru by my side. "Your... Having... Twin girls." he said somewhat calmly. "Thank for your time, so very much." Haru said shaking his hand. "My pleasure." the doctor said. We walked out of the hospital and headed for our car. I sat down and let Haru let out his enjoyment by rubbing my stomach and listening to it. When he was done he started up the car and drove back home. As soon as we had got settled down I got a text from the group chat of Mae, Yorie, Jasmine, and I. It said:
Jasmine: Guys I have to tell you something very important
Yorie: what
Mae:What is it?
Jasmine: I'm pregnant
Mae: What the HECK!
Yorie: Just now you found out!
Jasmine: Guys calm yourself! And no, I found out last night!
Yorie: I knew Rin dip kissed you for a reason!
Mae: Yorie, settle yourself!
Yorie: Sorry
Jasmine: Guys you act like it's a big deal!
Yorie: It is!
-just now-
Miko: I'm guys I just read your entire conversation...
Mae: Oh, well now at least you know that Jasmine is pregnant
Jasmine: Shut up Mae!
