Nikki has been staying at your house for about a week, since your mom has been out visiting Matt, she's been getting stronger each day.
"How you feeling?" You ask Nikki as she flips through channels on your TV while laying down on your couch.
"Like I need to wrestle." She groans.
You hand her a bottle of water and sit down on the floor between the coffee table and the couch. You feel Nikki's hand go on your head and start playing with your hair. Suddenly you feel your phone start vibrating in your pocket and the ringtone is blaring.
"Hello?" You hear a familiar voice.
"Um, hello?" You answer.
"This is your aunt Keisha, your mom was in a car wreck last night and..." You hear her stutter as if she's been crying.
"What happened auntie K?"
"Your mom, well she died at 2:00 this morning in ICU." You burst into tears, how can both of your parents be dead? Could your life get any worse?
"T-thanks for telling me, I gotta go, bye." You set your phone down and hug your knees and lay your forehead on your knees and begin to cry again.
"What's wrong?l
"My mom...she died this morning. She was in a wreck."
"Oh my god I am so sorry." Nikki sits on the floor with you and wraps her arms around you.
"Could my life get any worse." You cry.
"I think u can make it a little better." What is she talking about?
"(Y/n) will you go out with me?" She gives you a comforting smile.
"Y-yes." You wipe your tears away and hug her. You just sit there for a moment holding each other. You look up and brush Nikki's hair out f her eyes as just stare at her.
"What?" She asks smiling.
"Nothing." You smile and kiss he cheek then start watching TV.
-next morning-
You wake up on the floor with Nikki in your arms. You kiss the top of her head then lay back down, it's still dark out so you check the time on the TV. 1:30 am I should go back to sleep. You quickly fall back to sleep with Nikki in your arms.
