Why We are Always Together. || (Miniminter)

Hi! I'm destiny Nights. I go by Desi though. My sister called me that as she was learning to talk and I kind of liked the name so it stuck.

My sisters name is Penelope but she goes by Penny for short. She is such a caring four year old. I mean she loves the world and everything in it. She adores my dogs, she loves going to the park to see the nature and the beasties. She is easily fascinated by anything.

My mother likes the idea of beautiful and pretty long names, so did my father. Did.

The first year of him being gone was awful, I tried to find answers at the bottom of bottles of alcohol on why he had to go so soon, he had an amazing life headed in front of him. We were going to travel the world as a family, from America right round the world and back to the uk all in the time of 16 months. But I realised he would not want us to be sad. He would want us to enjoy or lives as much as he did. So that's what I did. I trained hard in the gym everyday and eventually earned my reward, amazing abs. I was and am so proud. It was the first thing I achieved on my own, with out him.

I still visit him once every few months. It is hard to let go so I haven't. I can't just let go of him like that, he'd want me to be happy but without him I couldn't be so this is the best level of happy I have got to. It's easier for me this way so that's the way I do it.

My dogs. I trained them from day one. The day I found them. I was walking home from school as normal when I saw a man who had them both by their collars. I could tell he was hurting them. I knew it was wrong. After a few minutes after waiting for a car to stop and let me cross, I crossed. My emotions flooded with anger when I saw him hitting them. I fought and argued with him for a while, before my dad showed up, looking for me. I told him to stop and that what he was doing was wrong, no one should ever hurt an animal. Ever. But dad came to save the day once again. He stopped and came out of the car. He payed the man £400 for both the puppies and gave them to me.

I do take the dogs to see his grave, hardly ever. When he died they were heart broken just like I was we had each other so that helped with the pain a little bit. We did everything together, us four. Me, him, tori and Tanya. We entered every dog show there ever was near us and won first place in every single one apart from twice which we came second because of a poodle that was pink. But apart from that they are very well trained, they know right from wrong. And they are the most loyal beings on earth.

Thats my life so far. I'm 20. I have long brown hair and blue eyes. I run a blog. I live with mum, penny, tori and Tanya.
