It Complicated Chapter 2

"N-no," he spluttered out.

Really, 'no' was what he had to say, not that my words were meant to deflate his 'precious' ego.

'Read my lips, N-O. Who the heck are you anyways?" I said before taking in his profile,as realisation dawned on that, he was the schools residential bad boy. Whoops.

"You, don't know who I am?" He replied, implying as if he was the king and I was his measly subject. Now, even though a small part of me(a VERY small part) was fearing for my life, I still felt proud of myself. I mean, come on, hurting the bad boy's ego in one sentence, nice going Darcy!

"Maybe, maybe not. But I don't have time for your pathetic games,"

"It's not a game, sweetheart," I cringed at the name." My brother, over here likes you, for reasons beyond me!"

I looked over to see who he was pointing at, and sure enough there was he was in a mop-top/oasis kinda hair, with a half-grin plastered across his face. One third of the trio of brothers, the 'Bad Boys'. Sat to his left, the last third of the group, though he looked like he belonged with the Teddy Boys of the 1950's, Jack.

All three of the boys had one thing in common, their dark vibrant green eyes, powerful enough to make a girl melt. All the boys were equally as hot, Jace, Jack and even this idiot in front of me!

"Love, he isn't that good looking," obviously caught red-handed gawking.

"Whaaaaaaaaaaat," my words seemed to jumbled up into a long slur.

"For f#ck sake! just say yes already or are you scared?" He taunted.

He did not just go there. Now, normally, I'm the one winding people up, but I also have a very short temper when someone assumes I'm 'scared', saying I was incredibly pissed off is just putting it loosely. Even though I know they're doing it to help themselves. But most of all I was NOT scared of him and his 'merry men'.

"Shit just got personal," Charlotte muttered, knowing the effect the word 'scared' had on me, as petty as it sounds but hey, don't judge.

Chase started to speak up, knowing my response to them, but by then I was seething out anger.

"Darcy. Um.. Listen, lo-" I cut Chase off. A quick unthought about 'yes' came out. I realised what I had done, and so did Jake apparently giving me a cheeky, though annoying grin.

"Text you on Facebook, baby girl," accompanied by a wink then he left.I called after him.

"Wait, I don't have Facebook and 'baby girl'? No, just no."

"All is not what it seems," was his wise reply.

Who the heck did he think he was, Albert Einstein ?
