"Mell wake up we have to get ready for school." Lexi said shaking awake Mell. Mell turned over rubbing the sleep out of her eyes.

"You ready?" Lexi asked as she was still putting on eyeliner and mascara.
"Almost..." Mell said putting makeup over her forearms. "I am now. Let's go, bye Cobalt!" Mell grabbed her bag as she wished her dog farewell. The two walked down stairs and walked to school.
Lexi and Mell arrived at school. Mell got the usual amount of stares but that doesn't bother her much so she just carried on to her next class.
"Bye Lex!" Mell called over to her friend as they went separate ways. Mell walked into her class room sitting in the back like always.
"Today students we..." The teacher started. "Are introducing a new student. Two actually." The teacher finished. A boy with bright green eyes and white hair walked into the room first but was later followed by a boy with coal black eyes and black hair. "This class is..." Mr.Castor wanted them to say their names. "T-Travis." The green eyed person said. "Aaron." The black eyed person said.
Melanie's POV
I can't help but notice how much this Travis guys is staring at me... I mean Mr.Castor forced him to sit by me but he's staring at me an awful lot... Aaron was forced to sit at the front due to the many fights he's been in causing him to be 'untrustworthy' but he seems pretty laid back I trust him.
"Um can I... Can I help you?" I asked Travis. His eyes widened once I spoke to him.
"N-no it's just that... Did you fall from heaven? 'cause you look like an angel." Travis stuttered. He looked so uncomfortable and awkward... It is quite adorable actually...
"An angel? Hm... That has to be the nicest thing someone has ever said to me in some time." I said rubbing my arm a bit. "But seriously is that what you use on girls?" I asked him.
Travis looked even more frightened.
"Hey you don't need to answer that if you don't want to..." He doesn't look like he's very good at speaking to girls but hey at least he tried. "Hey you need to try being yourself. Trust me I know where you got that from, Dante. And to my knowledge dating two girls at once is not a good thing. Don't take much dating advice from him he has no idea what he's talking about."
Travis nodded. "Heh... I feel stupid now..." Travis said smiling like an idiot.
"Your not stupid. You were just mislead by Dante. I know how he is though. Knowing him since 1st grade can be useful at times..." I say.
"Now Travis I am glad you and Mell are getting to be friends but you need to be quite! Plus we are learning about chickens right now!" Mr.Castor yelled at the both of us.
I rolled my eyes. "Sorry." I said before putting in my head phones and tuned out the rest of the lesson.
3rd Person POV "What's your next class?" Mell asked Travis as the went out the class room door.
"Uh... Witch class I think..." Travis said handing Mell his scheduled. Mell looked at his schedule reading it over.
"We have five classes together." Mell said smiling, Travis smiled back.
"Nice I get to see your beautiful face..." Travis said blushing a bit. He smiled brightly and twiddled with his badge.
"Excuse me?" Mell asked. She wondered if she heard him correctly.
"N-nothing!" Travis said quickly. His face grew bright red as he ran his fingers through this hair.
Mell giggled and blushed brightly. "We have two minutes to get to class let's go before we are late." Mell said changing the subject.
As the two arrived at there witchcraft class they got stopped by Gene.
"Sup Gene." Travis said. Gene just smirked walking over to Mell. Mell looked frightened something Travis had yet not seen.
"Hey look it's the little mutt~" Gene said pulling Mells tail. Mell looked at him in a scolding way. "What are you going to do? Get the alpha on me? Oh wait your a regect. A regect whom was secluded from the pack. Your pathetic." Gene spat at Mell.
Travis stood there not knowing what to do as Mell was getting tormented by Gene. A side of Gene Travis knew existed but had never seen.
"What are you doing hanging out with this mutt Travis? I thought you were better than this..." Gene said.
"Melanie is no mutt! She is my friend! And you have no place to be saying things like this to her! She has done nothing wrong to you! How'd you like it if I were to go torment Sasha?" Gene stopped looking so menacing and stood there dumbfounded at what Travis had just yelled at him.
"Heh. She would kill you before I even got to her." Gene laughed. Gene looked back to Mell. "Now what do I have here for the little mutt?" Gene transformed into his shadow knight form but had a very strong unfamiliar aura. He charged at her but a bright beam of light followed by a loud bang stopped him.
Mell stood there with her right arm stretched out in front of her. She winced as she put her arm down. Mell grimaced as Genes wounded body lay helpless on the ground.
"Wh-what was that?" Travis said frightened. He stood there scared of his newly found friend.
"Don't worry about it... Let's just go." Mell grabbed Travis' arm pulling him into the class room.
As they entered the room Ms.Hyria scolded them for being late Mell brushed it off her shoulders she had to many problems to worry about her attendance.
Mell sat in the back next to Lexi and Travis followed sitting in the desks next to Mell and Lexi.
Mell looked mad and Lexi looked concerned. Travis just looked really confused and scared.
"Are you-" Lexi started. "No. I'm not okay Lexi when am I ever okay?" Mell snapped. Lexi stayed quiet knowing Mell didn't feel like talking.
Mell blew her hair out of her face and took out a pencil to take notes only giving her something to do.
Mell Looked back at Travis with a worried face. Travis looked over and Mell looked down. Travis' calm face turned into a worried face not knowing what was wrong with Mell.
The bell rang and Mell rushed out of the classroom Travis grabbed his stuff and ran after her.
