It started with a normal 'hey',
Under the sun as we laid,
From the honest opinions and warnings,
And admitting we never believed in flings,
Covered in spaghetti and the tomato sauce,
Me stealing your video games was the cause.
And as we said our goodbyes that day,
I never knew forever we're gonna stay!
And our laughs that echoed through the whole of wattpad,
As everyday we grew closer, your name filling my notepad,
The people around us looking at us awestruck,
But we were too busy believing our meeting was luck.
Every morning as I'd wake up,
a smile would be playing on my lips,
'cause a msg from you would fill the notifications,
And my heart would forget all its cautions.
Butterflies filled my stomach for the first time,
Shivers running down my spine,
With your every word, each line,
I swear every feeling you give me is divine.
I would hug the pillow and blast the music,
Every morning chatting with you, turning Mason-sick;
And waking up at night to wish you morning,
My blind trust baby, you were earning.
Who would've thought that time,
That you will be all mine,
To love, cherish and care;
To hold my hand as at the moon and stars we stare.
Now as you hold me through this night,
My head resting on you chest,
Your hands around my waist,
And I look back at the days we met,
I realize we knew it all along,
That we're meant to be; somewhere deep down.
And I sigh happily knowing you love me too,
And I peck your lips although you're asleep,
Your hands tighten around me bringing me closer to you,
I kiss your chest and fall asleep,
Knowing that every morning you'd be here sweeping me off my feet,
Having breakfast with me chatting nonchalantly,
And taking me on dates, creating beautiful memories we'll remember all our life so truely.
Fate brought us together in the most strangest way,
Forever by my side I want you to stay,
I'll love you more with each passing day.
Even after we turn old and grey.
And years from now when we'd lay under the same sun,
Watching our blue eyed twins, after each other as they run;
As our third baby would try to make them stop,
We'd watch with wonder and awe.
And at that moment you'd hold me tight,
I'd lean into you knowing with only you it feels so right,
And you'd lean in closer capturing my lips with your soft crisp ones,
Flashes of the very day we met would come to us,
And the whole journey we would remember so clearly,
Silently thanking the stars and God we're soulmates,
As our lips will mould into each other,
And I promise you that, that very moment, the very kiss would stay forever. <3
