Freakshow

One day John, Korey, Jen, and Seth all had a pretty rough day. A lot of kids started to call them all freaks for naming the band Skillet. Seth almost lost it and got in a fight with another student. John, Jen, and Korey all held Seth back. Korey almost punched someone, Jen almost screamed, and John almost yelled to everyone that they should shut it but they all held back their anger and went on through the day.

By lunch time they all have had enough and wanted to come up with a song quick. Korey said,"Lets make it about how much they are all....." she stopped herself and calmed down a little,"Lets make it about a freakshow." John said,"We can do that and maybe at the beginning have an announcer say stuff like we are in a circus or something," John excitedly looked at Korey. "What," Korey asked. John said excitedly,"Can you find someone to do the announcement?!" Korey said,"I'll try." Some kids walked by their table and stopped. Jen said,"Please leave us alone we are thinking of a new song and it'll be hard to think of with you people here." One of the girls mocked her and said,"Tells us what you are planning we are wanting to know all you freaks should tell us so we can help you." "You wont help us," John started to get a little upset,"you would never help us no matter what you do! you would just tell us to change everything and make it about you!" Korey calmed John down. "Lets make it a competition then! Make the best band win," said a guy from behind the girl. Seth replied out of anger,"Its a deal!"
The kids left. John said,"Lets go to Jen's house tonight so we can think of the song and beat." "Alright," said Jen.

Later at Jens house they all thought of beats they could do. "Maybe at the begging i could put a few beats to make it sound a little better." Jen said. John replied,"Yeah and maybe Seth could put a few beats in it as well!" Seth smiled. Korey said,"Lets get the lyrics first you two." Jen and John smiled. Seth said excitedly,"Ladies and gentlemen come and see things you're eyes won't believe! Some say they are aliens! Some say they are strangers! We will not conform to the masses! Whether they scorn or whether they attack us! Come one! Come all! Welcome to the freakshow!!" Everyone just stared at him. "What," Seth asked. John asked,"Did you plan that today?" "No, i just thought of all that now," replied Seth with a smile. Korey and Jen were surprised and glad they didn't have to come up with the announcer's part. "Well let's try to get the lyrics placed out tomorrow at lunch. For now lets just think of the lyrics," John said as everyone shook their head.

The next day they were all tired because they barley got any sleep at all. So at lunch time they all were about to fall asleep when their table was dismissed for lunch. "So," said Korey with a yawn,"how are we gonna put the lyrics?" John was half asleep. Jen kicked him and he woke right up. John asked sleepy,"What did i do?" Korey asked again,"How are are gonna put the lyrics?" John fell asleep standing. Jen and Korey both kicked him. He woke up,"What," John asked. "Stay awake we still have half a year till summer break and we need to get these lyrics done," Korey said getting a little angry. "Ok" John yawned,"Ill do it tomorrow." Korey got a little upset,"We need to finish the lyrics today," she almost yelled at John. "Don't worry about it," Jen said,"We are all pretty tired so don't flip out on John for being tired." "Well its not my fault that he keeps falling asleep while I'm talking to him," Korey replied out out anger,"I'm tired too we all are tired why should he get sleep when we can't?" John got his food and sat at the table then fell asleep again. Jen, Seth, and Korey all got their food and sat at the table. Since Korey always sat across from John she kicked him and kept him awake.

During their next class they all fell asleep. "Wake up," the teacher was at their group,"No sleeping in my classroom!"
They all woke up and tried to stop themselves from falling asleep again. The teacher told them go take a walk in the halls and come right back. They all got up and went outside the classroom and went to walk. "Now," said Korey,"the lyrics."
John asked,"Why do we have to do this now?" Korey replied,"Because we need to figure this out! You have been falling asleep all day!" John said,"But I'm tired. Why can't I sleep?"
Korey replied,"Because we need to finish the song!" Jen and Seth stayed silent and watched. John said,"You sound like my mom." Korey stopped for a minute. "I do," she asked. John replied,"Yes and you're my girlfriend not my wife yet and you'll never be my mom." Korey chuckled a little crazy. "Uh....Korey," Jen, Seth, and John asked. "I'll show you I'm nothing like your mother!" Korey yelled running at John. Jen and Seth held her back and Seth picked her up. "Put me down i need to kill him!" Korey yelled and students and teachers came running into the halls. Seth yelled back,"I'm not putting you down till you learn to behave!" Korey sighed,"Fine, but we are going to my house tonight and we aren't going to sleep until we get the lyrics." The teachers and students walked back to class and the four were left in the hallways alone.

"Shes gonna kill me soon," John said sitting behind Jen and Seth. "Korey," Jen said. "Yes," Korey replied. Seth spoke loudly,"No killing John!" "Fine," Korey sighed. John said,"So some of the lyrics are welcome, freakshow, feed, nothingnto prove, and a lot more." Korey said,"Better be a lot." They all started to play the beats they are gonna do and everything else. "Can we sleep now," John asked. Korey replied,"Yes." John ran over to Korey hugged her and kissed her cheek then hopped in her bed and fell asleep. Korey rolled her eyes and smiled,"I think he loves sleep more than me." Jen and Seth chuckled and agreed.

They all woke early the next morning. "We should do the song one last time before school today," John said. They all did the song one more time and got on the bus for school.

They all walked to the principal's office and asked if they could do their song that day. "Alright, but no swear words in any song," said the principal. "We are a Christian band. We aren't gonna swear in any of our songs," Seth replied. The principal made a schedule change and told the whole school.

After the concert they looked in the very back again. "Hey look there he is again," Jen yelled over top of the crowd. "John go get him," Korey yelled. John got off the stage and Seth followed. They went all the way to the back and got caught in a crowd of girls and couldn't get out. "Oh great! Jen lets go," Korey yelled. "Alright," replied Jen. They tried to go to the very back and got caught in a crowd of boys. The dark figure was in the back again and he disappeared into the halls. Seth asked,"I thought we were having a competition with Jewels with the bands?" "She was too scared," laughed Jen. They all met at the middle of the girls and guys. They all sighed.

Hey, sorry this took so long to put out i barely got anytime on my kindle and i fell asleep way too much. Well i got this one out hope you enjoy! And if you want me to write a story about another song i just might do it because I'm all out of ideas. =)
