Chapter 2

CAITLYN'S POV

"Whoa, I had no idea you could curse so well."

Tumingin ako sa nagsalita, it was Benjamin. Nginitian niya ako. "Hi there, long time no see!" Bati niya.

"whoa, this is driving me crazy tho." I said in a sarcastic tone.

"We missed you too!" Joseph teased.

Mamatay man ang lahat ng tao sa mundo, di ko mararamdaman na mamimiss ko ang mga 'to. Naramdaman ko namang tumabi si Joshua sakin, tinignan ko siya ng masama.

Nginitian niya lang ako at inabot ang susi ng kotse kay Benjamin. "Ben, can you drive? Ang sakit ng kamay ko because of this woman right here. She's quite heavy!" He said.

Benjamin took the keys and went to driver's seat. "Wdym? Binuhat mo ba siya?" He asked then started the engine.

"Yes, dahil iiwan niya tayo dito nang hindi natin siya kasama. This woman beside me, ang payat niya lang tignan but she's freaking heavy!" Sabi niya.

Narinig ko naman ang mahinang pagtawa ni Benjamin. "I bet naiinis na si Heidianne sayo!" Sabi niya.

Joshua nodded, sinapak ko siya. I have to admit, it was my instinct who told me to punch his fxcking face. "AH!" He shouted.

Joseph restrained me from punching him. "There you go, your face's much better than before." Gigil kong sabi.

"Can you just chill for a min, Ate Heidi?" Sabi ni Joseph.

"The fxck is your problem, Heidianne?" Inis na sabi ni Joshua sakin.

"Don't you dare call me with that filthy mouth of yours!" I shouted.

"Para ikakatahimik ng kaluluwa mo, our parents planned this to reunite again. And, it might be dangerous for you to live alone in your house." Sabi ni Joshua.

"To be honest, Ate Heidi. We missed you a lot. Ang dami ng nagbago, but it seems like you're still mad at us." Sabi ni Joseph.

I laughed sarcastically. "Dapat ba kong ma-touch? Thank you guys sa concern but i think i can handle this alone." Sabi ko at lumabas ng kotse.

"You've changed a lot."

Tinaasan ko ng kilay si Joshua. "It's for the better, jerk." Sabi ko.

"Btw, we prepared a room specially for you. Manang, can you take her to that room?" Sabi ni Benjamin.

"Thank you!" I mouthed.

Nang makapasok ako sa loob, naglibot ako. Obviously, pinaghandaan talaga yung pagdating ko dito. All things are complete, including the makeups, perfumes, and etc.

I placed my things on the bed and started unpacking para malagay ko sila sa wardrobe. Habang naga-ayos ako, i heard someone knocked at the door.

I stood up and opened it. "Hi, can i come inside?" Tanong niya while he's holding a tray.

I moved to the side to let him in, sinarado ko agad ang pinto nang makapasok siya. "What's your agenda here?" Tanong ko.

Tumingin siya sa tray na hawak niya. "To give you some food, i guess?" Sagot ni Joshua.

"Other than that." Sabi ko, while putting my things inside the wardrobe.

"Look, i'm really sor-"

I cut him off. "Don't be sorry, because it's too late to apologize on the things you did before. Let's just forget what happened few years ago, alright?" Sabi ko.

Tumango naman siya sa sinabi ko. "Are you still mad?" He asked.

Tinaasan ko siya ng kilay. "Isn't it obvious?"

Umupo siya ng maayos at tinignan ako. "Then, tell me. What's exactly your problem?" He asked.

I closed the wardrobe at umupo sa harap niya. "My problem? I felt betrayed earlier. No one told me to come here and spend time with you. Do you think i would be happy to meet you ng biglaan? Diba hindi! If you were in my shoes, how would you react?" I asked.

"I'll feel the same way."

I pointed my finger at him. "Exactly! If they told me about this sooner, i would have prepared myself to meet you. Alin ba ang mahirap gawin doon? Do i look like manghuhula? Everytime they do something i have to guess kung ano yung plans nila for it? That's fxcking insane!" I shouted.

I heard his laughed, napataas ang kilay ko. "What's funny?" I asked.

"Sorry, i don't know that you look cute when you're mad." He said while giggling.

I rolled my eyes. "Come to your senses, jerk. Sa tingin mo ba matutuwa ako sa mga banat mo. No wonder you have so many women in your post feed." I said.

Napatigil siya sa pagtawa at tumingin sakin. "How you'd know that? Are you stalking me on my socmed accounts?" He asked.

Nanlaki ang mata ko nang marealized ko yung sinabi ko sa kanya. Tinignan ko siya. "T-that w-was a j-"

"Nauutal ka yata? Do you have a crush on me?" He asked.

Nawala bigla yung hiya ako, dinampot ko yung unan at hinampas sa kanya. Dumaing siya ng malakas, para na siya maiiyak anytime habang nakahiga siya sa floor.

"In your damn dreams, Joshua Perez!" Inis kong sigaw sa kanya.

"You know what, you don't have to keep those feelings naman. If you tell me, i promise sasaya ka sakin." Confident niyang sabi.

Na-cringe ako bigla sa sinabi niya. "Ang dami mong sinasabi, halatang walang patutunguhan mga sinasabi mo. Ang labo niyang mangyari!" Sabi ko.

Tumatawa siya habang tumatayo. "Don't be shy, Heidianne. Just tell me that you missed me!" Sabi niya.

I rolled my eyes. "Can you just get out? Feeling ko sasabog ako anytime!" I shouted.

"What a short-tempered woman!"

Napalingon kami, nasa pintuan sila Benjamin at Joseph. They're holding tray also. "It looks like pinadalhan ka na ni Kuya ng pagkain. In that case, saamin na lang ni Joseph 'to." Sabi niya while entering the room.

Napabuga ako ng hangin. "All of the places, why here? You have your own rooms, right? Why don't you stay there?" Sabi ko.

"Joseph, can you get our Nintendo Switch? We'll play here sa bedroom ng ating prinsesa." Sabi ni Benjamin, ignoring me.

Tinignan ko si Joshua. "Can you guys leave?" I asked.

Nagkibit balikat siya nang makita niyang bumalik agad si Joseph na may dalang Nintendo Switch. "I don't think we can, the precious item's here!" He shouted while pointing at the Nintendo Switch.

I rubbed my face out of frustration, i grabbed my phone and lumabas ng room to get some space. Maybe, I'll just go inside na lang kapag wala na sila sa kwarto.
