It's my first day of my new high school since I moved to Arizona. That means new people, new clothing styles, new expectations, new schedule, new home, and new state. But at least there's one bright side. It's my last year going to high school. I would be more excited but the last 14-18 years of school have drained me.
"Melissa!" I heard my mom yell from the bottom of the stairs.
"Just a minute!' I screamed back.
I had just finished straightening my naturally long, curly, brown hair.
"Perfect. " I said sarcastically looking at my horrible excuse to call a face. I was wearing black skinny jeans and a regular white T-shirt. I know its not much for the first day of school, but I'm not very good at first impressions. Let alone making any friends.
I sprayed the last bit of my Britney Spears perfume on and started to make my way down stairs.
"Mellisa Lirk get your ass down stairs right now or your going to be late!" My mom yelled from the kitchen sink.
"Alright, alright bitch. " I said under my breath grabbing my back pack forgetting to grab breakfast.
I slipped my black converse on before running out the door to catch my bus.
I made it just in time to get onto the ride to hell. I looked around hoping to find an empty seat, but with my luck, there wasn't.
It felt like a thousand pairs of eyes wear glued to me. Watching my every move. I felt like I wasn't human after the way they stared me down. I was just a new kid. Not an alien.
I made my way over to about the middle of the bus to find a guy with tattoes and a lip piercing. He was sitting alone and I had no where to sit.
I lightly tapped his shoulder bringing his attention to me.
"Uhm, excuse me?" I said with the most politeness in my voice. "Is it alright if I sit next to you?" I finished my sentence.
His bright green eyes stared into mine. He might be covered in nonesense tattoes but he was a good looking lad.
He just stared. He didnt say anything for which seemed like forever.
"Uhmm.." I said impatiently as the bus doors began to close.
"Oh uh, yeah, sure whatever." He said sliding farther into the seat.
I sat down letting a sigh of relief out from my mouth.
"So." I tried to begin a conversation," whats your name?"
"Harry Styles." He said with a rushed tone and an British accent. Where would that come from? I wonder if he is from England.
"Well, my names Melissa Lirk. But I prefer Lissa." I said pronouncing the L louder than the rest of the letters.
He didn't bother saying anything back. It was just a silent bus ride after that.
After the awkward ride we finally arrived at school.
AHS was engraved in huge letters in the front of the school. I stared, and kept walking. I bumped into a girl with perfect blonde, long hair draping down her back. Her clothes were adorable and she looked great in them too.
"Watch it new kid!" she said with a harsh tone.
"S-sorry.." I said trailing off staring at the ground walking faster. I could here her and her friends laughing. I didn't want to. I just ignored it.
I looked at the map that I was holding tightly in my right hand. It was the map of the school. It was so big and hard to find where I needed to be.
I located my first period class and marched my way, as fast as I could, to the classroom so I wouldn't be late.
Classroom 36, Science
I grabbed the door nob and took a step into the class closing the door behind me.
I looked up and the first thing I saw was, him.
Harry Styles.
His deep green eyes staring right back at mine. He's so strange, yet attracting almost.
I broke our gaze and and made my way to an open lab table.
