Chapter 1

Shannon's POV
I woke up to my phone buzzing over and over.
Vanessa: Hey wake up, my party is today. Seriously wake up!!
Vanessa: SHANNON WAKE UP
Vanessa: WAKE UP RIGHT NOW
Vanessa: GET THE FUCK UP
Vanessa: SHANNON BEVERIDGE WAKE UP
Vanessa: Wake up
Vanessa:NOW
Me: Well I'm definitely up now.
Vanessa: Good
Vanessa is throwing a party since her parents are out of town for the weekend, which means she probably invited the whole high school. I look at my phone to check the time to see that it's barely 9:30am so I decide to go back to sleep. "SHANNON,I MADE BREAKFAST ." Said my Mom from the kitchen. "OKAY ILL BE DOWN IN A FEW." I got up and looked at myself in the mirror and all my baby hairs were sticking up."Whyyyyyyyy...why...whyyyyyyy?" My baby hairs always seem to trickle their way into being crazy. I ran downstairs and saw my mom and Casey."Oh hey guys." I said sitting down about to eat."Oh and by the way can I go to Vanessa's to hangout tonight?"
"Sure but be back before midnight." Said my Mom. "Well since I'm going later I was just thinking about staying the night with her, since her parents are out of town for the weekend." My mom always trusted me around Vanessa because she always looked at her as a big influence in my life. We've been friends since middle school and she's always been by my side since then. "Sure!" She said more than happy, I gave her a quick smile and finished my food. I took a quick shower, and looked at the time to see that it was 12:30pm, so I decided to straighten my hair which took about 2 hours and Vanessa's party didn't start until 6:30. Once I finished my hair I put on some ripped skinny jeans with a red and black flannel and my white converse,then threw on some light makeup. It was only 3:30 so I decided to watch a movie, when the movie was over it was 4:50 and I started getting messages from Vanessa.
Vanessa: Hey Shan,could you come over? I need you to help me clean.
Me: Yeah sure I'll be there in 10 mins.
Vanessa: okay thanks
Since she was having a party I didn't really see the whole point in cleaning , when the house would just be a mess when the party was over. When I got there Ally and Stevie were the only ones there aside from Vanessa. "Suh dude." Said Ally waving at me. "Suh du-"I said getting interrupted by Stevie. "Hey how's Jasmine doing?You haven't talked about her in awhile." Jasmine is my girlfriend who I have a bunch of problems with she's kind of controlling and the jealous type, but somehow we manage to still be together. "Oh she's fine." I said trying to hide my guilt of being with her. Jasmine was my first girlfriend that I got since I came out as gay and honestly she's one of the worst ones that I've had. After a few minutes we started cleaning up a few things
and people started getting there.
