Sometimes his father would get drunk.
His father would never hurt Aaron or even get close to violence, but his father would change. He would get quieter and get a starry look in his eyes. Aaron would always try to leave the room when his dad got drunk. But this time he ended up getting stuck in the same room, considering he was dragged to this bar to have "one drink" with his dad. Aaron was used to his dad drinking to get tipsy, or even just to enjoy the taste. But it's weird to see him ever drunk.
"Why did you kill that man?," his father asked. Aaron looked at him with one eyebrow raised.
"What do you mean?"
"I know what you did, Aaron."
Aaron widened his eyes. He was take aback. How did his father know?
