IV - Wicked?

*Ciel's POV*

Nullified hu.

Why does a demon wants to destroy another contract if he doesn't want his soul? And a mere human cannot killed a demon. Another creature? Nonsense.

The carriage came to halt then I heard Sebastian open the door.

"We're here young master"

He offered a hand to help me out of the carriage then I continue to my study room. I'm still looking for some clue for the case when he(Sebastian) entered the room.

"It's time for you to retire to bed young master"

"Fine"

We're walking to my room when a idea struck my mind and I start to question my demon butler.

"By the way Sebastian. Aren't demons made contract in order for them to get the contractors soul, then isn't there any other way for them to live without consuming one?"

"Hmm let see, there are different type of how can a demon survived without a soul, its just that if he is able to collect human life's essence then it can be his food."

Sebastian nodded to himself as if contented with his answer.

"Human life's essence?"

"Yes, some demons consider to drink human blood, or be indulge to their scent or even eat them while some feed on humans fear"

"Demons eat humans?!"

"Oh not literally, but its a bit to early for the young master for this kind of topic"

He smiled wickedly like his hiding something from me.

What the heck is this demon thinking?!

"Just answer me clearly Sebastian, I told you not to lie to me you demon!"

"My my, your too scary young master, do you really want to know?"

I glared at him as I stop in front of my room.

"Just answers me idiot!"

He looked stunned by my sudden outburst and chuckle to himself like I did something funny. He sigh in surrender and walk in front of my door to open and tell me that he'll answer after he came back with my milk and finish to change my clothes.

"Now tell me"

I calm my self and start to sip my milk when he sigh once again and start to talk.

"I mean they taste and eat by having sexual intercourse with humans, those demons are sometimes called succubus or incubus. They can feed on humans sexual desires."

Wh-aa, I spit my milk right in front of his face when I felt my face grew hot.

What the heck!

"I told you Ciel, its to early for you to know about that kind of topic." He started to wiped his face with a clean white handkerchief.

"You m-mean they're having s-see-" I stammer as I tried to say the world only to be cut by him.

"Yes, they looked for someone to do 'that' thing for them to eat."

I can feel my face grew hotter than before when I remember about the other 25 persons who are found naked and dead in their sleep. All of them men.

"Wait, those men, all of them were found naked before they die. Do you think they did 'that' with a demon?"

"Actually I thought about that thing also earlier, maybe the murderer devour their soul that's why they died after the intercourse, and we can assume that it is a demon since the bodies didn't receive any kind of damage, but I didn't feel any presence of a demon on the Lord's house earlier, so I'm not quite sure if the murder where related with each other."

he just stand there and act like he was thinking of any possible answer.

I consider what he said about the how the murders are not related but I can't think of any other that can do such thing aside of a demon just like himself.

"If ever the murder where related or not and your assumption is right about the other 25 bodies, then, it just say that a female demon was responsible about those men. Wait, don't you think the demon also had a contractor? And this contractor is the one who did those things to the other nobles? "

"Hmm a succubus hu, quite the fetish she have, well yes maybe she had, but I don't see any reason for her to made a contract with a human, and especially a human can't kill a demon. Besides why do that human made Contract with a demon if he hates demon, and how do he know us? Having contract with that kind of human will only cost her too much trouble."

Hatred, fear of death, revenge. That's how demon made contracts with humans, but its towards another human and not for a being like him.

"By the way, what are you looking at earlier at the Lord's manor? You seem quite indulge by it"

"My my, perceptive as always, you see there's this lovely lady who capture my interest with her wonderful scent, oh I can still remember how she smell by this time."

He giggled like a horrible dog and I cannot help my self to throw him the pillow near my hand.

"Shut it pervert!"

"But young master, even though I am a demon, I'm still a man"

He chuckled and giggled again in his statement that makes me plant my face on my palm, ah my head hurts.

"Is it also part of your aesthetic?"

"You can say, besides, demons aren't capable to have feelings, specially of falling in love"

He said this and tucked me under my blanket. I do not want to argue with him any further. So I just close my eyes and let my self drown into sleep.

"Goodnight my Lord"

Sebastian slipped outside the Earl's room very carefully, for him not to disturbed his sleep.

"That's right, Demons do not fall in love"

He repeated to himself as if to remind him not to forgot those words. A weak smile made its way to his lip as he vanish to the darkness of the night.

A little boy walked into the hall of darkness until he was standing right in front of her door. He knock lightly and entered after hearing her say 'come in'

"My Lady, I finish what you have ordered me."

"Thank you my dear"

He handed the papers to his lady who is looking outside the window.

"Is there something wrong?"

"Nothing my dear..."

She kneel so that she's the same level of the boy where she cup his cheeks with both hands and looked straight to his eyes.

"Why don't you go back to your room, we might woke him up. i know you don't want that to happen"

she smiled at the little boy and it nodded and leave the room.

the lady took sit in her bed and scan the paper when a too familiar name appeared in the list.

unable to think clearly, a tear fell in her glowing eyes as she thought:
