Nameless Poem

Don’t know how to feel;

Don’t know what to do.

Making up excuses not to see you

Finding reasons just to see you

Everyone expects a yes;

I can see it in their eyes, hear it in their voice.

Peer pressure, is now pushing on my shoulders;

Doubt is lacing my words and actions.

Can’t help but to ask why?;

Out of all the people, why me?

Don’t know what’s right, what’s wrong

Trapped between two sides of a story.

Don’t want to get hurt;

Don’t want to cause pain.

Back against a wall

Hiding from peeking eyes;

And whispering lips

Peer pressure, is now pushing on my shoulders;

Doubt is lacing my words and actions.

Can’t help but to ask why?;

Out of all the people, why me?
