Chapter 2

It was the day they all were going go the movies and Liam was so nervous, he would be going to the movies with this beautiful boy. Yeah his friends were gonna be there but still, he was scared.

Zayn on the other hand was so excited, he was bouncing off the walls. Zayn's mom was a little suspicious but once he told her about how lunch went and how nice Liam was, she was happy for Zayn. Liam is supposed to come get him at 2 o'clock and its 1 now so all he has to do is get dressed, with the help of his mum, then he is ready to go.

At 1:50 Liam decided to make his way to Zayn's house after Zayn texted him his adress. Liam couldn't wait to see Zayn, he wondered what he was wearing, he probably looked so cute.

When he got there it was 2 o'clock exactly. A woman opened the door, she looked a lot like Zayn, this must be his mother, liam thought.

"Hello, you must be Liam, I'm Trisha, come in." she led liam inside and told him he could sit on the chair.

"Hi, it's really nice to meet you. I hope you dont mind me and my friends taking Zayn to the movies." Liam told Trisha.

"Oh of course not" she said, "as long as you take care of him and dont let him get hurt."

"I wouldn't dare. So where is Zayn?" The movie startes at 2:30 so they would have to get a move on.

"Oh he's-" Trisha got started but was cut off by Zayn. "R-Right here, I-I'm right h-here." Zayn almost trips coming down the stairs but catches himself. "Are you ready to go? The rest of the guys are at the movie theater already." Liam tells him.

Zayn gives him a big smile before nodding his head. He gave his mum a kiss and a wave goodbye before grabbing Liam's hand and taking him outside. "You look really nice Zayn." Liam didn't know what to say, he was just so nervous around the raven haired boy. "O-Oh t-thank you s-so much L-Liam." Zayn told the other boy. He was so happy to be going somewhere for once, not just staying in his house all day.

They had all agreed to go see the Conjuring 2, well Zayn was actually scared to go see the movie but didn't want to seem lame in front of his new friends so he just went along with it.

By the time they got to the movie theater there were just the previews playing, Liam actually like seeing the previews a lot for som weird reason. Zayn was sitting on the edge while while the rest of the boys were to his right.

They had two buckets of popcorn, each of them had their own candy and each got their own soda.

The lights had finally started going down as the last preview went off. The movie was finally starting.

At the first scary part Zayn couldn't help but jump, he was scared but Liam was right there so he put his head in Liam's chest for most of the scary parts. Liam wasn't even paying attention to the movie, more so Zayn.

"Are you okay Zayn? Is the movie to scary?" Liam was starting to worry about the boy on his chest, he was shaking a little. Zayn shook his head before jumping out of his seat and running down the steps.

Liam ran after him only to see him sitting on a bench with his head in his hands. "Oh Zayn are you okay?" Liam felt bad for talking Zayn to see such a scary movie. Zayn let out a sob before shaking his head and looking up at Liam. He was crying.

"I-It w-was too s-scary L-Liam." he choked out. Liam engulfed Zayn in a hug, wrapping his arms around the bot before apologizing. "Want to go play the games while we wait for the other guys?" Liam wanted Zayn to stop crying, he could stand to see at the boy so sad.

They ended up playing the little games they had, the first went to the Jurassic world game, Zayn stopped crying and was now laughing at the game.

They did that for about an hour before they saw the guys walking out the theater. Louis was the first to spot them, he nudged Harry and Niall before pointing to where they were. "How's Zayn?" Niall was the first one to ask, "he's okay, he was upset at first but we've just been playing the games." Liam told the 3 of them.

"Lets get out of here, we should go do something else for Zayn." Harry said with a small frown. "Zayn is there anywhere you want to go? Since you didn't like the movie?"

"R-Roller s-skating!" Zayn exclaimed. Liam was a bit skeptical, he didn't know how Zayn would take to rollar skating. His eyes showed that so Niall instead gave a different option. "How about we go bowling instead, what do you think Zayn?" Zayn just gave a enthusiastic nod before grabbing liams arm and walking to the exit.

When they got into the car Liam followed Harry since he didn't exactly know where the bowling ally was. "Do you know how to bowl?" Liam asked Zayn. "I-I've only b-been t-twice a-and It was h-hard. Do you?" Zayn wasnt sure if he was good or not since the two times he went were when he was 5 and then again when he was 11.

"Uh yeah I'd like to think im pretty good" which wasn't a lie, he did win most of the time. "M-Maybe you could t-teach me?" Zayn looked up at Liam hopefully. "Of course." Liam looked at him for a second before focusing back on the road.

They soon were parking and Zayn ran to the doors before looking back at the rest if them. "C-come on g-guys!" Zayn was ecstatic to get started.

Once Liam got to where zayn was he put his arm around him before opening the door. Once they all got their shoe sizes and orderd food they were setting up their lanes and putting their names into the system. Niall was up first which resulted in laughs from all the boys when he didn't hit not one ball "it's ok Niall, better luck next time." Harry said sincerly. It was Zayn up next but he was nervous, he really didn't know how to play that well.

"C-Can you help me L-Liam?" he mostly wanted help but also wanted to be close to the other boy. "Yeah, of course." so Liam stood behind Zayn, his chest pressing against Zayn's back. "Ok so first make sure to get your angles right, turn you body slightly, just like that and tilt your arm a little more. Perfect, now go for it."

Zayn did exactly that and managed to get a perfect strick and then started cheering, turning arount to hug Liam. "I-I did it L-Liam, l-look they're all knocked down!" Zayn could contain his excitement when all the other guys cheered for him, Liam giving him a huge smile.

Thats how the rest of their time was spent, cheering each other on and eating up all the food, having to order more on Niall's request. All in all it was the best day Zayn ever had.

Okkkk, I cant even imagine how upset some of you are because how long it took me to update this, there is really no excuse and I'm not even going to try to make one up. I just want to say I am so so so completely sorry for how long this took, basically 10 years in fanfic time. There has been so many new readers and I'm so excited to see this book growing! I just need to say one thing. So I really don't know anything about down syndrome, I dont know anyone with down syndrome, I have never really learn about it except for the research I did for this book. So if any of you know anything about down syndrome please please message me or comment some facts. If I get anything wrong or if im portraying someone with down syndrome wrong please tell me!
