Chapter three- summer's over

10 months later

It's kind of funny how some events may change the way in which people look at their lives and think back and wonder if that maybe when you had the chance you could have changed and be a better person maybe even volunteer to help others in need but all they can do is think and think some more about if they had done something differently then maybe they wouldn't be in a lonely and cold place.

It was a bright and sunny afternoon with no signs of rain in the sky just a perfect day to enjoy with some friends so Krista, Maria, Cece, Ally and Lilly decided to have a sleepover before they go back to school they planned to have it over at Ally's house seeing as her mother went on a business trip the following morning.

"okay so whose bringing the snacks, ice cream, and the movies. " Lilly asked.

" i can bring the snacks " said Maria.

"And I can bring both the ice cream and movies." Replied CeCe

Later that night all the girls met up at Ally's house. They were all having a blast playing music and games but they weren't even aware that they were being watched. They party was about to get a little more interesting when Ally pulled out one of her mother's whiskey bottle and the rest of the girls erupted in cheers cause they all knew things were about to get a little sweeter.

"who wants to play never have I ever, so the rules of the game is that if you ever done something you take a drink and if you haven't then you don't have to take a shot, OK does everyone understand the rules now." Ally said after she finished explaining the rules of the game.

"so who's going first" Krista said with a mischievous smirk on her face.

Half way through the game and all of the girls were trashed beyond words apparently they did a lot of things in their young lives it was all going well until they heard a loud noise downstairs and got up to see what it was as the were about to go in the living room the lights went out and all you heard were the screams of the girls. They were all scared because they had no idea what was happening.

" is everyone okay." Maria asked finally getting back her voice to speak.

Then suddenly they heard a scream that sounded a lot like their friend Lilly. After they heard her scream the lights came back on and the girls started to look around all over trying to find their friend by then all the drinks that they consumed had left their system but all the found was a blooded knife with a note.

"you should really learn to lock your backdoor more often -your worst nightmare. "

Scared they girl ran out of the house to try and see if they could even catch a glimpse of the person that took Lilly but they found no one not even a car insight. So they went back inside and call the police.

"um guys what do we tell the police when they get here they can't know we were drinking underage and we can't tell them about the note because what if something happens to Lilly if we give them the note." Krista voiced her concerns.

"yes Krista's right so all that we are going to tell them is that we were watching a movie when we heard a noise downstairs we went to see what it was then the lights went out we heard a scream and when the lights came back on Lilly was gone and all that was left was a knife. " Cece told them explaining what to tell the police when they arrive there.

No more than ten minutes later they heard the siren and the flashing of lights before their was a knock at the door.

Krista made a move to open up the door looking back at the girls to confirm that they had their story straight with a shake of their heads she opened up the door to see two uniformed men one of them spoke up saying.

"what seems to be the problem miss."

"our friend was kidnapped and we don't know by who." Krista cried out to them

After inviting the police into the house the girls started to explain the story that they memorized earlier.

"we would like to thank you for your cooperation and we will try our best to find your friend so can you please show us to the weapon that you said you saw." The officers asked them.

After they retrieve the knife they left and the girls were left to themselves thinking but was interrupted when they heard their phones went off. Reading the text it left them scared and shaking it said.

"Good thing you didn't tell the cops everything or else your friend wouldn't have been so lucky right now." And with it was a picture attached with Lilly bloody and unconscious.

"What are we going to do now." Maria asked the rest of the girls

"I think we should figure out who this freak is and why he, she or it wants Lilly." Ally said with confidence.
