Imagine the world where there once lived a perfect prince, anyone would want. Imagine a tall, dark, handsome and romantic one. Everything you ever wanted, all in him. Now imagine, being his queen and ruling a lovely kingdom with him, nothing ever went wrong and you could swim in your own treasures. Sounds lovely right? Now imagine, a poor, 15-year-old girl whose father sold their prostitute mother to a couple of gamblers and ran off, leaving his little girl at the age of 7 and his only son at the age of 9. Sounds horrible huh? Well, I hate to say this fairy tale isn't like the others. Who would have imagined that same little girl would grow up to live in the first situation.

That little girl is me, Kaku Hajime. Over 8 years has passed and I am now 15, I must say I'm not so bad for a 15-year-old. I live in Toronto Kingdom. It's one of the most biggest Kingdoms in the country in America, and our ruler is the one and only King and lord Tooru one the wealthiest men in the world. He was 3 kids, the oldest being Amon, 2nd being Oikawa, and the youngest Dango. Now, I personally have no interest in the royal boys, but apparently, Oikawa is looking for a girlfriend considering he is passed the age of getting one. But that's really none of my business, to be honest.

It's been over 3 days since I've eaten anything and I don't like this. Today had to be the hottest day of the summer, and the only day was my older brother Iwa-chan would let me out of the house. Well, not even a house, we lived in an abandoned attic in a church. It's not very easy for my older brother to let me out of the church considering he's way too over protective.

But I hate having to sit inside all day while he works to pay off my father's debt. Now imagine, me running as fast as I can away from an angry old man who's chasing me with a broom. "Watch Out!" I yelled to warn the people ahead of me, refusing to let go of the bread in my cloth.

There were two sides to this kingdom, and unfortunately, I lived on the bad side. Where everyone stole, raped and tried to stab you. I didn't have very long legs considering my height of 5'1, but I been playing this game for too long so I had an idea where'd everything was.

"I'll get you, Kaku!" says the old man, slowing down out of breath.

Finally, he stops and breathes heavily. I kept running, laughing loudly. "And I thought you were a challenge," I said, not even running anymore, but instead slowly walking.

Before I knew it, that bastard threw a knife at my right shoulder. I screamed like hell at first, but the pain slowly began to sink in. I guess that's another scar for the memory book. My breathing began to speed up as I reached over to pull out the knife that was digging into my shoulder. But I couldn't do so when the old man finally caught up with me, pulling it out himself. Again, I screamed in pain as I fell to the floor, the bread falling too. I bent over, wincing in agony as I bite my bottom lip.

"Aw, what do we have here," he says, pulling me by my lower hair ponytail "Such little girls shouldn't have such filthy mouths, I think you need to be punished," he says, his breath smelling of old mold.

With that, he started to welcome his knife to my hair, cutting it off angerly. When he was done, he dropped me to the ground and kicked me in the stomach."You're not meant for the big dogs, girl," he says hovering above me before picking up the loaf of bread.

I can't go another night without food, neither can Iwa-chan. Instinct reacted fastly and I grabbed onto his left leg, biting as hard as I could. The bastard fell to the ground, the knife falling with the bread. I bite untell there was blood drawing from his leg. I lifted myself up, wiping the blood from my leg and smiling.

"Huh, who would've thought you tasted like shit, oh wait, I did," I said, pushing my body up so I could stand, sure it hurt like hell but you get used to the pain. Seems like the stab in my shoulder wasn't going away.

"Give me your vest, your shitty stab didn't kill me and I'm bleeding," I said, kicking his throat. He starts to choke for a second, coughing up blood. "No way in hell, bleed to death you son of a bitch," he says as the color from his face was fading.

I shrugged, picking up the bloody knife and sliding over his throat. "Now, listen, old man. We could do this the easy way, or my way...do you really want to die today, I mean your have your lovely wife Zoe back at home, don't you?" I ask laughing a bit at the end.

His eyes widen and he slowly starts to pull off his vest, handing it over to me. I wrapped the cloth, so it reached under my arm pit. It seemed to stop the bleeding.

"Please, just go away," he whines, still holding his throat.

"Mommy, she's a monster," says a small child's voice from the crowd of people watching me in horror. I turned my smiling head to see a little boy, hiding behind his mother's long dress.

"No, no I'm not a monster sweetie, I'm simply returning what the old jackass did to me, it's all fair play in this world," I said moving my shoulder, only to feel the burn. "Man...does this feel good!" I said croaking my head.

After years of being stabbed, bitten and almost beaten to death, this little thing wasn't much of a problem, to be honest.

"Now, now, if you don't mind, I promised my brother I'd be back home at sunrise. I hope you all have a wonderful day...sho, sho" I said waving off the crowd.

I couldn't make too many problems considering my history with the kingdom's knights. I don't plan on going back to prison.

Everyone went on about their business, the little boy still eyeing me as I walked over to the old man. I picked up pieces of my auburn hair and sighed.

"Ugh, you didn't even cut it short enough, ya old goof, next time gets it right," my tone suddenly changing at the end as I grabbed the bread and stuffed in his mouth before I could jam the knife into his hand.

He bites down on the bread and screams like there's no tomorrow. I kept, twisting the knife into his soft hand until I heard the knight's horses coming this way. I groaned and pulled out the knife out, making him scream once more in pain.

"I don't have the time for this, maybe next time old geezer," I shouted before running off into an alley and climbing the bricks to the rooftop. Up there, I started to run towards the old man's shop so I could another loaf of bread.

Before I jumped onto the next roof, the old bastard yelled,"I'LL SEE YOU IN HELL!" A small smile crept onto my face as I pulled the hoodie of my cloth onto my head.
