The sun blared through the double glazed windows. The rays blasted through the curtains, illuminating the entire room. The alarm clock waking Rosalinda up at 5:45am from her deep slumber. Groaning, she hoisted herself up on her elbows.

"Just five more minutes". She said to herself, as she hit the snooze button and fell back to sleep. When she awoke, Rosalinda turned to the alarm clock which read '6:45am'. "Bugger!" She shot out of the bed like a bullet from a gun and ran to the bathroom. As she brushed her teeth, Rosalinda pulled down her pyjama bottoms and hopped out of them whilst she spat her toothpaste in the sink. As this morning wasn't going badly enough, she managed to miss the sink and watched her reflection in the mirror as the toothpaste oozed down her top. "This isn't going to be my day!"

Looking in the mirror, she put together the last accessory that was needed to complete her outfit. She was wearing a black high neck, long sleeved top, tucked in a black leather skater skirt and to finish it off, Rosalinda wore black heels. Her hair up in a high, neat pony. She smiled at her reflection. Not bad for a rushed outfit.

Ten minutes later, Rosalinda was ready to leave. She collected her coffee flask, keys and locked the door to her manor. Opening the car, Rosalinda placed her belongings in the passenger seat. Starting the car, she put her seatbelt on and began her thirty-five minute journey to her workplace. Luckily there was no traffic, so Rosalinda made it into work on time. She found her usual parking space, located at the front of the building near the entrance. This was so that Rosalinda was able to leave the car park as quickly as possible. Gathering her belongings, Rosalinda shut the door and locked the car.

Rosalinda got out of the elevator and made her way up to her desk which was located on the top floor. She placed her coffee flask on the desk and switched her computer on. Taking off her jacket, she sat down on the black, leather chair and took a sip of her coffee.

A tall man, dressed in a white, black tie and waistcoat tucked into black skinny trousers with black shoes strolled towards her desk.

"Morning Rosalinda" He greeted, perching at the edge of her desk.

Rosalinda looked up and smiled. "Morning Owen. What's on the agenda for today?"

"We are going on site"

"That's a good plan. So we've got the meeting with the owners?"

"Yeah. They've agreed to meet us today at 11"

Rosalinda checked her watch, which was placed on her left wrist. "We should get a move on then"

Stepping out of the car, Rosalinda scanned her surroundings and was disgusted by the scenery that greeted her. Was that manure she could smell? Her new clients were impatiently waiting next to the fields of muddy land. Rosalinda exchanged looks with Owen approached the clients.

Smiling, she stuck out her hand and introduced herself. "Rosalinda Milana. Nice to meet you" Reluctantly, the client returned the handshake with hesitation. "Thank you for choosing our firm for your project"

We've heard great things about you"The client replied, his face emotionless. "We have high expectation of you Miss. Milana"

"We won't let you down Mr. Perkins" Rosalinda reassured, her smile warm and encouraging. The clients said nothing. "Ok. Shall we show you the sketches we have prepared?"

Rosabelle entered her workplace and made her way to her desk. She greeted everyone that she walked past. She felt good for a Monday morning. Unlike her eldest sibling, Rosabelle woke up on time and had a positive start to her week.
