i knew something was wrong with lucy. i went over to the table. "lucy? can you come with me?" i ask sweetly. She gets up and follows me. "ok lucy what is wrong?" i ask. She looks a me. "it dragon mating seasons. Where all the dragon slayer find there mate. It all so effect the females. i was about to tell him i was his mate and see if he like me back. He started to talk harshly to me so i told him i had to do something. So to us dragon slayers that means rejection" lucy said to me. She took a breath. "us dragons slayers cant live with out a mate. We only have one mate so if we get rejected we die slowly" lucy said. i hugged her. "lucy if he didnt tell you that he didnt like you it doesn't mean that he like you.....Who is he?" i ask. Lucy looked at me. "ill tell you but you have to promise not to try to set us up and if you break it i will never forgive you" lucy said. i nod. "I promise>" i said. "it was cobra" lucy said. "i knew it! awww your babies are so cute! oh I cant-" " mira" lucy said cutting me off from my fan girling. "He dont like me. i gave him the letter yesterday.he left." Lucy said. "oh~" i said sadly. "im sorry lucy" I said. "its fine" lucy said and walk out. I went to the bar and saw master. "master?" i ask He looks at me. "i need you to set up lucy and cobra" i whisper so that the dragon slayers cant hear us. "why cant you do it?" he whisper/ask. "i promised her" i said/whispered. " fine but i haven't seen him since yesterday" master said. We saw lucy leave the guild.

lucy pov

i went home and Racer, Angle, Hoteye, and Midnight were walking behind me. "lucy-san? have you-" " no" i said cutting off angle. " i thinking he left since i gave him that note" i said as we walk in my house. 'i need to go on missions again. ' i thought I sat down on the couch and angle took a shower midnight was asleep. 'as all ways' hoteye was watching tv next to me. And racer was in the kitchen. "lucy-san? why are you-" "why dont you try getting rejected by your mate" i snapped cutting off racer. he is the only person i never snap at. I saw midnight had wide eyes. Hoteye jaw slack and angle stop mid-way down the stairs. I stand up and walk to the door before i opened the door and reach in my pocket and pulled out a letter. "hear" i sneered as i put the letter in Hoteyes hands. I walk out. As i was walking around Mangolia i realized that I was at the edge o Mangolia. *SIGH* i turn around and started to walk around again.

Midnight pov

All of us are shocked that lucy snapped at racer. "wow" i said. I look at the letter and saw hoteye in shock still. I got up and Took the letter. 'if you are reading this it mean that my mate has rejected me and im all snappy and crap. My mate was cobra. when you get rejected you die in 3-5 years later. ~L.H' i read. I gave it to angle and she read it out loud. "no wonder she is like that." angle said. "midnight do you think you can try to talk to cobra by telepathically?" angles ask. I closed my eyes.
