Always in My Heart

This is my poem that got put into a book. its about my father and his passing ^^" eh well i hope u like it

Oh, I got home that day on a crisp and clean summer,

Throwing opening a door I will no longer use.

Right when I opened it my father sat waiting

His faces' brighten like a little sun as he saw me!

A paper crumpled in my sweaty hand, but I must give it up.

Fear filled my body as I handed it over, but a smile crossed his face as he said;

"Good it doesn't suck!" I smiled and giggled a bit.

It upsets me I won't see that happy smile again,

I kissed his face and said "see you later dad" and skipped to my room.

Soon I awoke the TV blasting,

So I looked outside to see my father's car not running.

I quickly whispered "why's his car here?" and jump off my bed.

Fear exploded in my mind and weakened my body as I stumbled to his room.

That’s when I saw him laying there and I knew something had happened

I will not know why he went away like that nor do I want to know

But I know he will he him my heart always.
