A bribing mum

Day 3, Jan. 2, (11:47 p.m.)
Dear Remy,
Oh. My. Gosh. I can't believe her! She is sooooooooo bribing me!!!! Ugh! What does she want from me?!! Here let me explain real quick to why I think this... So when I woke up this morning at 9 a.m. I realized I only had a couple days of winter vacation left and I hadn't really hung out with any of my friends over vacation. As I was walking down to go get breakfast I decided when I get back to my room I'd text dad to see if I could go hang out with them. Since he was gonna be working pretty late tonight, with it being the New Year and he hadn't finished yesterday. I had a smile on my face as I walked into the kitchen knowing he'd say yes to me. But right when I walked in I smelt something delicious which confused me since no one was suppose to be home but me. However when I looked over at the stove I saw mum standing there humming as she cooked... I was about to turn back and race to my room when she turned around with a plate of waffles. It took her a second until she saw me but when she did she have me a sheepish smile and told me that she was sorry about last night with not being able go to dinner with her and dad. She also said she wasn't able to get me anything from there to bring home which I just scoffed and rolled my eyes because I knew she wouldn't bring me anything even though she said she would. She just continued though, going on with what she was saying looking a little hurt but I didn't really cared if I hurt her feelings or not but kept listening to her anyway. She apologised for all that stuff and said that she wanted to make it up to me so she decided that she'd be a tad late to work so she could make my favorite breakfast with all my favorite toppings. The look on her face was hopeful but I ignored it because she was just trying to bribe me for something! I told her that too. I told her that she could forget trying to make it up to me that I knew in reality she just did it to bribe me! I quickly turned around and marched away to my room to text dad about my friends because I didn't wanna be near my mum! Once I finished getting the yes from my dad, I walked back downstairs to grab a quick bite before Carson came to pick me up. But as I walked carefully into the kitchen, making sure not to make the same mistake as last time, I noticed first she wasn't there and two waffles!!!! I literally ran to those things so fast! Then I went to the fridge to get my toppings I always have with my waffles! Which are whip cream, and any kind of fruit we have at the moment. As I was placing all my toppings on and digging into my food I noticed a sheet of paper next to the plate of waffles. I was about to read what was on it but then I heard a car honking and knew Carson was here so I had to quick finish eating, than put my plate and things into the sink and race outside. The note I just shoved into my bag in between pages of my diary for reading later. I figured it was from her and didn't want to have to deal with what she had to say at the moment. Anyway that's why I'm annoyed with her this time and Carson said she sooooooooo agrees with me that mum is trying to bribe me! When we finally got out the topic of my mum we talked about her recent boyfriend and how he was getting really annoying and kinda clingy. We agreed she just needed to dump him and get a new one. Which I than said she should try the guy I was talking to and sorta flirting with, at her party. She agreed that he was pretty hot and a likely candidate to being her next boyfriend. We than went to her house to just hang out and have a girl's day! It was sooooooooo relaxing and enjoyable!!! I didn't want to leave!!! I asked if I just could stay the night and she said she was just about to ask me that!! We started laughing and when we finally stopped she went to ask her parents and figuring that I couldstay, I went to go call mine. My dad said I couldn't but than my mom convinced him that I could stay if her parents were ok with it and I told her they were so I ended up staying!!! I told Carson I could stay and about how mum had to convince my dad and not the other way around like normally. She said that my mum was just trying to butter me up which I couldn't argue with because it made complete sense. We than went to go get snacks from Carson's kitchen and stayed up late watching movies and playing games. I finally decided I should go get ready for bed since I started to dose off in the middle of our sixth movie. Right when I was gonna tell Carson to head to bed I realized she was already asleep and decided to just go ahead and use her bathroom to get ready. I went to my bag to grab my emergency toothbrush and toothpaste and noticed my diary so I grabbed that too and headed to the bathroom. That's where I am now I finished getting ready awhile ago. I'm just about finished with this entry. I'm doing it in the bathroom just in case Carson wakes up, I don't want her to know about me and my diary. With how much I make fun of diaries and how I'm always saying I'll be my friends diaries. There is no way I'm letting them find out about mine. I don't want them to know about it. EVER. Carson's knocking to use the restroom so I have to go. Good night I'll update you tomorrow. I kinda like that ending... maybe a little more fixing and it'll be perfect.... night..

Heyo there!! How was this? I know I haven't updated in a while and I'm really sorry about that!... I've just been so busy and than the writer's block! I'm so sorry I'm gonna try and be quicker with updates not sure I'll succeed with that but I'm gonna try. Anyways I hope this chapter makes up for it tell me what you guys think!😉
