The father holds his son close to him using the bit of life he still had to protect his son. The figure drew closer as a bear appeared from behind. A thick voice spoke up, "Now what do we have here, Charlie?" The bear released a grunt as it started the the man. "Please take my son protect him... Raise him." The father took his last breath and bled out. The bear nudged the man over reveling an infant. The mountain man saw the wound as he picked up the baby. "Serious wounds, too severe to be made by anything from these woods, this man was murdered Charlie." He stood up and walked into the shadows of the woods. The infant crying out for his parents. "Son your looks tell me that you're a fighter." The mountain man said chuckling. Following behind the mountain man was the bear. This bear would play a huge part in this child's life. The mountain man approached a cabin entirely made of wood. "Home, sweet home" said the mountain man, as the bear followed close. Once they entered the cabin the mountain man lit a fire and laid the baby peacefully on his bed. "You can sleep here, I'll sleep on the bear." The mountain man joked as Charlie looked towards him. The mountain man sat down by the fire and made soup to feed the infant. "Son, I know this isn't all natural for ya but it'll do." He constantly tried feeding the infant who wouldn't budge and kept his mouth closed tighter than Fort Knox. "Heh, I read you perfectly, all you're doing is making life a lot harder out here." The mountain man sighed as he placed the bowl aside and went out to look for milk in the city. "Listen Charlie I'm leaving towards the city protect that child with your life." The mountain man ordered. The bear only grunted rolling it's eyes as it laid it's head on it's arm. "I'll miss you too." The mountain man said chuckling while closing the door.
