"Leah, won't you be my friend? Won't you......save me?"
"GASP!" Leah woke up with beads of sweat rolling down her face. "Where am I?" She said to no one in particular. "The infirmary." A deep voice respond. She turned to her right to see a boy with dark wavy hair and pure black eyes.
"Eek!" she panicked at the sight of a dark figure. " Calm down. Jesus!" the boy was surprised at her reaction. "I was expecting more of a 'Were you the one who kissed me awake?' start of a conversation." the dark hair guy smirked at Leah's face. "I don't believe in fairytales Sir Dark One... I mean Aelius."Leah replied with a glare. "Sir Dark One? Creative. Well at least you know my name."the boy smiled and gave her his hand. Leah glared at him and slapped his hand away to sit up by herself. "Feisty. Is it because of my sexy dark hair and pure dark eyes?" He emphasizes "dark".
She looked at him and thought of telling him that she thought he was the dark one from the tv series Once Upon A Time when she first opened her eyes but she thought better of it. "Yeah, maybe, possibly."She replied showing no care.
"You know, a proper thank you is the best way to express appreciation just so you know if your father didn't teach you." She stopped moving. Her father died when she was little. It has always been a sensitive topic but she isn't going to cry for him now.
"Not for this jerk." she thought. "And why would I do that?" She said with a hint of sadness in her voice. "Well, that's because your prince charming here saved you."Aelius was proud of his answer.
"I was in the female toilet." she eyed him suspiciously. It took awhile for Aelius to register what she meant. "No, no, no, no! I am, if not your favourite person, certainly a gentleman. I swear I wouldn't do that but if you want me to, you could've just asked." Aelius replied and gave her a wink. "Then where did you find me?" Leah asked, ignoring his last sentence. "Just outside the girl's toilet." He answered obediently and realizing the unpleasant dislike from Leah.
"You know, you don't seem to like me that much. Care to tell me why?" He looked at her closer, trying to understand the complicated brain structure god had implanted into this creature.
She pushed his head away from her face. "You see there is probably a thousand reason why a normal person doesn't like you-"
"True. With my sexy face, of course." thought Aelius while Leah had other thoughts "Am I really normal after all the seeing strange thing? Whatever."
"-but the one thing had to be-" but she was interrupted.
"Oh Leah!" A female voice cried. Hailey Cole, Leah's best friend also the popular girl that previously dated Aelius was crying because she heard her best friend fainted. Hailey was about to get closer when she saw a hideous creature standing there. Behind her, Nurse Jenny sat on her seat quietly avoiding eye contact with Aelius.
"Now you get why I don't like you." Leah stared at Hailey with a poker face. "Oh yes, I do." Aelius replied sighing at the sight of his ex. "Aelius Lakeway! What are you doing here?! Are you here to contaminate Leah's mind? Haven't you had enough with all of the innocent ladies out there? How dare you-"She started screaming.
"Oh boy, for a while there I forgot she is really dramatic." the two victims thought quietly. "Quiet!" the nurse shouted. "This is not a market." Nurse Jenny glared at Hailey. "Sorry." Hailey squeaked with embarrassment. "Calm down Hails, Aelius here said he found me near the girl's toilet." Leah explained. "And I carried her so you should be thanking me, not shouting at me." Aelius added. "In hell I shall. Well, I'm here so you scoot off and go away from my innocent Lays." Hailey glared at Aelius.
"Ok, ok. Girls these days. Well, I'll see you around Lays." Aelius smirked. Hailey gasped. "You are so not allowed to call her Lays!" She shouted with utter anger. "And no I'm not seeing you around." Leah added on. "Shh!" Nurse Jenny glared at them.
