I took down my posters feeling the lump in my throat coming back, carefully I placed the Ronaldo and Beckham posters on the clothes I packed and zipped the bag.

A knock on my door startled me I wiped my tears quickly and muttered a 'come in'.

"Hay" she said, I fastened my legs approaching a needy hug. "Its okay, you will do great wherever you are" Iris said.

"I am going to miss you so much, no one will ever play as good as you, I will never play good anymore " I hiccuped

"I am going to miss you so much, no one will ever play as good as you, I will never play good anymore " I hiccuped.

"No girl, you are the best football player I have ever seen, you have to strike every time, remember."

"I don't want to leave," I said, she creased my hair saying, "Consider yourself on tour for your professionalism in England"

I laughed through my tears, "I will go for a friendly match with Beckham" I said letting go of her.

"Go easy on him tiger " she said.

I smiled thanking her, soon my best friend had to leave, and I had to continue packing.

Mom and Dad did lie to me and told next week whereas it's only two days.

Two days to gather my life.

I woke up mom calling my name saying plane is leaving in 3 hours. I groaned walking to the bathroom. I never expected to leave Los Angeles ever, I thought I would stay here and go to college here too, with my sports scholarship.

Guess everything is changing now.

It was still the beginning of the year, so sadly changing schools wouldn't be as hard. I took my bags and went down my parents already waiting in the car expecting me to put my bags myself, Which I had to.

You would've thought being an only child gives me a bit of privilege, but no not in this family. I was raised the hard way and I learned the hard way.

Football taught me that if you want it you work it. And always be ready always have a back up plan.

And right now, my back up plan was obligatory, I have no saying in it. I have also learned that one of the first aptitudes the captain of the team must have is: thinking of others first.

So that's what I had to do, staying here would make me so selfish towards my parents especially dad.

He has been working so hard for this position.

I was about to enter the car, when I heard loud running steps and people screaming my name, my team mates, I ran to them.

"Guys what are you doing here?" I asked holding Natalie's hand.

"You think we would miss saying goodbye to our favorite team captain? " Sam asked

I hugged them one by one, "thank you guys so much, I will never forget you," I said
