"He did?!" I said in suprise. My best friend, Terri, nodded her head.

"Aren't they a cute couple though?" she replied.

"Well I guess..." I shrughed.  My brother, Chase, had asked out Terri's sister, Leah. They were both 16. They weren't  hot but they weren't ugly either.  If I had to describe my brother in one word it would be funny. He is totally random and he isn't afraid to be himself. He isn't afraid to talk about himself either.

From what Terri has told me, her sister is pretty much the same way. We have both talked about our siblings and we found tons of similarities. It was like it was always meant to be. But then it was actually happening. I didn't know why it bugged me so much.

Their relationship went on for months, until that one day that changed my life forever.

"Gillian!" Terri shouted in the school hallway. I ran over to her. "Will this Wednesday work?"

"Yep! And Neil will be there." I smiled.  Neil was my lastest crush. There had been alot of them before. But he was better than all of them, and Terri had wanted to meet him since I told her about him. And it was finally going to happen.

That week was a three day school week so me and Terri were having a sleepover that night. But she was coming with me to my youth group first. That was where we were going to meet him. He didn't know that I was going to bring Terri. The last time he knew, he said he was really tired. From all the texts Terri had sent from my phone, it made sense.

As soon as I saw him, I ran up to him and pulled his hood over his head. It was kind of difficult since he was a little taller than me. Most people are because I'm short for an eigth grader, but that's not important.  He turned around and smiled saying, "Hey."

"Neil, this is Terri." I said awkwardly grabbing her arm.

"Oh....that one girl who stole your phone?" he asked me.

"That's the one." Terri grinned.

"Fun to meet you." he smiled as he politely shook her hand. I beamed with pride. He was such a gentleman. I only wished he was my boyfriend.

I loved my church for plenty of reasons. But one of them was they sold energy drinks on Wednesday nights. My favorite was green flavored Monster. I stay somewhat calm when I drink it. I constantly feel like running around my church, which is HUGE. I can't sit still and I speak rapid fire. Ok it's not that calm, but it's better than other people.

When the lesson and the amazing worship was over, we walked around church like me and Neil normally would have. It's alot more fun than it sounds. Especially when you are a rebel and go places you aren't suposed to be. It felt like you weren't suposed to be. No one ever told us not to but we got an unsure feeling and it was fun.

Neil's friend Quinn (he's a guy) normally would walk around with us. But this time he was following us. I pretended not to notice and whenever Terri asked, "Who is that?" He would hide.

Then I would ask, "Who?" Neil was just trying not to laugh. I whispered into Neil's ear, "Let's stand and wait when we walk around the corner." he nodded slightly and smiled. We stopped and waited in one of the doorways but Terri didn't. Quinn kept walking and he didn't see us. Terri turned around and shouted, "Who are you?! Where are Gillian and Neil?!"

Quinn put his hands up in the air, and said, "I'm Quinn and they're my friends...I-I don't know-"

I started laughing and said walking out of the doorway, "It's ok Terri we're right here!"

"That was hilarious!" Neil laughed. The rest of us joined in the laughter for a little bit more.

Then Terri said smiling, "My name's Terri. It's nice to meet you."
