Melody's Secret

Art Project

I saw David at the lunch seat. I whispered " What are you doing?!" he replied " your friends invited me and they wouldn't let me say no. in my mind my thoughts raced. I only had one friend and she wasn't there. I said " Victoria doesn't sit here! your sitting with Kylie Freeman!" and then he got up and walked over to the boy table as we like to call it. And I walked over to where Tori was sitting and sat down. " did you invite him to sit with us?" I asked. She replied " No, I think someone hacked into my texting and told him that!" I looked over to see a smirking Kylie giggling. I growled. She replied "Oh! are you a dog now?" I was so close to attacking her from everything she has done to me. I just calmed down and ate my lunch. 

At Fifth period I waited for David.  I saw him coming from the west wing of the school. He came up to me and said "So how did you find out about this BABY thing?" he whispered. I replied " my came home from work early and had a game night with me which is very unusual because she is always never having time for  a game night. Then after midnight I asked what she did this for and then she told me. I was happy for five minutes until I realized what that meant for us!!!" He then said " We can't keep this secret for very much  longer! it is killing my sense of honesty to anyone!" I nodded. I knew people would judge us, but for David's sake, I told him we would tell the School later tomorrow. He said "Thank you Melody, Our parents shouldn't know until we know our relationship is firm so we can comfort each other." then we switched out our books and rushed to our next classes. Mine was art. 

In art class We sat down and waited for Mrs. Huggins to start. "Hey Guys! Welcome back! today we are going to be making a art project out of clay! the object that we are making this masterpiece is up to you! yes you heard me right. We can make any sculpture or pot! if you need an idea, just think about what you adore most! make something challenging if you usually do better at art. The possibilities are endless! all you have to do is sculpt and let your mind take over!" then she handed out clay and told us to begin. I thought about it for a moment then I knew what I wanted to make. I used  fishing string and sliced a sliver of clay out and flattened it out. I rolled a small ball and four cylinders. I rolled one giant cylinder and began to mold. I used a needle to design the head. The eyes were detailed and proportional. I molded a nose in place and made the mouth.  I decided to make the figure a woman. So I Made her hair like it was  flowing in the wind with a bang over her right eye. I molded the chin and jaw to a point. I pinched the longer and thicker cylinder into a top half of a woman. Then the two smaller ones I molded into arms with one lifted looking like it was going to fire a serge of power and one on her side. the lower part of her body was easier to sculpt. I rolled another sliver flat and I designed an outfit. It was a ripped t-shirt and blue jeans that were covered in mud. I used metal rods and put the arms , legs, and  head on. then I went to work on the floor of a battlefield: a book. The reason why was because these characters were enemies in the book David had bought me. This was their big battle scene. I made another Character that had a  staff in hand aiming toward the other Character. The Second  figure was in the middle of a battle cry. The backdrop was hard. I had to sculpt planets and creatures in a galaxy. The planets were ok. but the galaxy part I had to use some kind of cardboard to dry and sprinkle with glitter. In the end the whole thing was glazed slipped ,and  scratched. I was proud of my work. The bell rang faster since I was having fun. I said goodbye to the teacher and  walked to my next class: Drama.
