chapter five

"Levi, after I left you... I got into big trouble with some bad men and now we need a place to stay for awhile." Petra begged, she was getting on Levi's nerves because she was known to be a compulsive liar and now she brought Jean into his home.
"You can stay in Eren's room and Jean can sleep on the sofa. Okay?" Levi ordered them. He didn't care where they were as long as Jean was away from Eren.
"Oh? And where will Eren sleep?" Jean glared as he sipped on his tea out of one of Levi's favourite cups.
"In the same bed as me," Levi hissed, not turning to face the ignorant male.
"But I still think that we need to talk about us Levi!" Petra spoke us as she pulled Levi's arm towards her.
"No... don't ruin my happiness again."

"Levi?" Eren asked the limp body beside him, "I am so sorry about Jean..." Levi sat up, noticing the new emotion on Eren's face in confusion. Fear. He wanted to know more about the teal eyed brat and make him his bride without hesitation.
"Oh? And why is that?" He retorted smugly in a superior tone.
"He... he didn't know what he saw that day. He is a sick and twisted murderer who will kill someone he is friends with after they break any rules that are relevant to him. I never asked him to help me or protect me, that was all him," Tears escaped Eren's eyes who wiped them away after turning away from Levi, "I realise now that I regret everything in my past and all I'm looking for now is a change of pace for my future..." Those teal orbs marvelled at Levi and everything he had, "I think becoming your wife may be my best option and something I know I will enjoy."
"Really?!" Levi pinned Eren down to his mattress, kissing him gently.
"What's gotten into you?" Eren giggled cutely. Eren suddenly felt a strange sensation that dangerous eyes were watching them... eyes he couldn't help but fear...
