 Adah

When it's your wedding day and your marrying a man that's 16 years older than you and becoming the queen of your country, you might be a little nervous. I am Adah (Ah-da) Bello 14 year old whom is the "Luckiest" girl in Africa. For the king to personally ask for her hand in marriage, she should be honored to be the queen, But king  Afolabi wasn't the one. She didn't wish to marry him just because he was king. She just met the man the day before and now they're getting married.

"Adah, smile the king is the perfect man for you. You should be honored that he even thought to marry you." My mother said. " I know mama, But don't you think i should get to know him before i marry him? I just met him yesterday!"

"I know baby, But do you know what this could do for us.? We could live in the kingdom away from everyone else, Be treated like royalty." Then I thought about it. This would benefit me and mamma a lot. "Okay mamma, I'll do it for you." There was a lot of things to do for the wedding. I have to change out of my dirty clothing and into the dress Afolabi's royal dress spinner made.

I walked out of the house into the outside bathroom

I walked out of the house into the outside bathroom. This would be a good reason to marry King Afolabi. I wouldn't have to put myself in danger using the bathroom and doing natural things anyone would wanna do. Being in the safety of the castle and the guards i wouldn't have to worry about anything. Unless Afolabi wants to have children. He would have to wait until im at least 16 to do that.

I suddenly heard a scream and foot steps. I stopped what i was doing and stepped out of the bathroom, And what i was face-to-face with Something I never thought i'd ever see.

... A White Man.
