Chapter 3

"W-WHAT?!" The team yelled.

Mei laughed. "Hello everybody, my name is Satsuki Mei," Mei started, "well my real name is Ukai Mei, but people seem to call my last name by my middle name." She said with a toothy smile.

The whole team flinched, "S-so is Mei-chan... your daughter?" Kageyama and Hinata asked.

"No, but she is my niece," Coah Ukai replied, sending off a dark aura.

"Anyways, Mei will be helping you on your weak points, and will be your coach for when I'm not here."

"This will be a lot of fun," Mei evily laughed, "well, do you guys mind introducing yourselves?"

They started introducing themselves as they went around the circle. Mei wrote down all of the names, and positions:

Daichi Sawamura: 3rd Year, Captain, Defensive Speacialist

Kōshi Sugawara: 3rd year, Vice-captain, Setter

Asahi Azumane: 3rd year, Ace/wing spiker

Yuu Nishinoya: 2nd year, Libero

Ryūnosuke Tanaka: 2nd year, wing spiker

Chikara Ennoshita: 2nd year, wing spiker

Kazuhito Narita: 2nd year, middle blocker

Hisashi Kinoshita: 2nd year, wing spiker

Tobio Kageyama: 1st year, setter

Shouyou Hinata: 1st year, middle blocker/wing spiker

Kei Tsukishima: 1st year, middle blocker

Tadashi Yamaguchi: 1st year, pinch server/middle blocker

Kiyoko Shimizu: 3rd year, manager

Hitoka Yachi: 1st year, manager

"Thank you all for taking me in!" She bowed, and gave off a flowery aura.

After the two got done changing, Yamaguchi and Tsukishima waited outside for Mei to come out.

"Tch," Tsukishima clicked his tongue, "what's taking her so long?" He paced back and forth.

"Tsuki, look up," Yamaguchi poked him and pointed at the sky. They were standing under the stars.

They saw the flickering stars, like fireflies flying in the night sky.

Mei finally came out to see Yamaguchi already sleeping. Tsukishima sitting down on the grass, tilting his head up to the starry night sky.

She sat down next to Tsukishima, "The stars are beautiful tonight," she smiled, her usual toothy-grin, leaning back with her arms holding her up. Her creme hair drifting through the wind and her slightly pink cheeks glowing. Her radiant energy permeating the air.

Tsukishima glanced at her, "The stars look better when she's here," he thought, unknown of his blushing face.

Mei layed down, closing her eyes, "Today was the perfect first day," she giggled. Tsukishima barely smiled looking at her.

"Yeah, it's fun when you're here." He accidentally said out loud. "God dammit, shit" he inwardly face planted.

Mei automatically sat up, and looked at him with a bright, red face, "T-t-thank you Tsukishima-kun." She awkwardly laughed.
