Why is it that pain never seems to fail us? Happiness and love always seem to be the death of us in the end. In this world, it's more likely that most individuals will die alone without realizing what love truly is. Love is a burden. It is so to speak the the plague of many civilizations. One single civilization cannot simply survive without pain and suffering. There are three words that are used in the human language, whether you feel them, fear them, or uplift them. Those three words are I LOVE YOU. These three words mean nothing. In the end when the world is too corrupted to continue on with any life on earth, billions of mothers/fathers, sons/daughters, lovers/friends/enemies....will be lost.
While there can be no end to this pain (however you define pain), it is not the enemy here. Pain did not ask for a broken commitment or a destruction of civilizations. Pain only requests that you linger where you feel safe. It forces you to think of your doubts and fears. The only thing that matters is what you choose to do with this pain. Do you end your life? Do you seek revenge on others to make them feel what you feel? Or do you
choose to only let pain affect you for only a second and say "Tomorrow's a new day"?~Keeper of Words
