"Hey bestie!" Claire said excitedly as she got in the passenger seat. She was always happy and had the most positive attitude, unlike me. She was about 5'4 with a nice tan, with long curly brown hair. Her eyes were the same color as her hair. She wore light make up cause she always wanted the more natural look.
"Hey Claire!" I said, with not as much as excitement as her. I couldn't help it though. "Can you call Ryan for me and tell him we are on the way to pick him up?"
"Sure thing"
"Hey Ryan" , there was a brief silence. "Calm down, she is driving or else I'm sure she would've answered your call" she said into the phone with a smirk on her face.
Oops, I did forget to call him back, a lot was on my mind though and I needed to get ready. But I dont know why i would need to talk on the phone with him if I'm just going to pick him up shortly. After Claire got off the phone with Ryan we made casual talk until we finally got to Ryan's place. Which was about 10 minutes away from hers. Pulling up to Ryan's house, I again honked the horn three times to let him know I'm outside. He stepped out and put his index finger up telling me it'll just be a second.
"I swear he is such a girl, he takes longer then us to get ready" Claire said while rolling her eyes.
I chuckled a little because she was right. "Dont be mean", I said with a smile on my face.
"So whats going on with you two?" I looked at her confused for a second, not knowing what she meant by that. She must have seen my facial expression because she started to explain.
"You know, are you guys gonna hit it off or what? It is so obvious he likes you a lot, your names even go together Ryan & Raina." I immediately started to blush and Claire started giggling. Was it true? Does Ryan like me more then a bestfriend? No, it cant be.
"Were just friends Claire" I said like it was the most obvious thing in the world. Even if he does like me more then a friend I wouldn't want to jeopardize our friendship, and I'm sure he wouldn't either.
"Yea, sure" and with that, Ryan came outside.
"Hey Claire , Hey Rain" Ryan greeted us when he finally got in the car.
"Hey Ry" we said in unison.
I pulled out of his drive way as silenced filled the car. I was sort of uncomfortable with the conversation i just had with Claire about Ryan. Maybe I should just forget it for now.
Ryan broke the silence first. "So, what are we doing today?"
"Maybe go to the mall, catch a movie, get a pizza and just have fun?" Claire answered.
"Agggh, I should have known you two would wanna go to the mall" He pouted with frown forming at his lips
I giggled, "Dont worry Ry, where not going to be long" I reassured him.
"Yea we'll see", he mumbled under his breath.

The mall was pretty packed today so it took a while to find a good parking spot. After driving in circles around the lot at least ten times we finally found a good parking spot close enough to the front. Claire was being lazy and didn't want to walk super far. We all got out my car and started making our way to the entrance of the mall. As soon as we stepped foot in the mall Claire grab my hand and pulled me the first store Charlotte Rues and i grabbed Ryan's hand. For some reason even though it was packed with cars, the mall isn't that packed inside.

About two hours later, as promised, we were ready to leave the mall. Claire and I had about five bags each and even Ryan had a few bags.
"Can we go now?" Ryan pouted again.
"Oh dont be such a drama queen Rya!" Claire joked.
"My name is not Rya!" He frowned at claire.
"Oh come on guys, dont start lets go" i giggled. They always found a way to get under each others skin and sometimes i have to admit, it was quite entertaining.
The whole way to the car Ryan and Claire were just going at it the whole time. Eventually I tuned them out but that didn't work as much as I thought it was.
"Shut up Rya" Claire teased
"My name is Ryan, and you shut up" Ryan growled. I could see he was getting annoyed.
If these to didn't stop now today was going to be a very very long day.
