Chapter 2 // The Mission

Many years after (Y/n) became part of the Church, the war had gotten very violent. Many people were dying from both Hell and Heaven.
Until the Hero Emilia destroyed all of the Devil's army, sending one of (Y/n)'s friends, into death.
Couple days later her best friend Tenshi also died thanks to a certain demon general named Alciel.

'One day you'll die Alciel and you'll die in my hands! You'll regret ever killing Tenshi'
Thats all ever (Y/n) thought about. She only thought about killing Alciel ever since Tenshi was killed.
None the less she still did what God wanted her to do, and it was only fighting and sacrificing her life for his.
Not knowing that Satan had left to Earth, she still continued to fight.

-Time Skip-

It had been several years since the Hero Emilia, Lucifer, and Olba have traveled to Earth to kill Satan. The church have been desperately waiting, so they decided to send their greatest option yet, to finally demolish the Devil.

~(Y/n)'s P.O.V.~

I knew it wasn't a good idea to trust the Hero, but noooo, they thought she was a good angel. A good fallen angel if you ask me. I'm still scared about whats happening on the other world...
What of they got stuck there?! No this isn't good... Or what if Satan defeated them and The Hero and Olba weren't good enough for him...
I've also heard that they had to send Crystal Bell to the other dimension.
Well as long as she's there then Emilia and Olba are okay, right?!
They also sent two other people, Serial-who failed us, and some other person. I dont exactly know who he was, but he made a deal with Olba- or as rumors has it.

It's been so many years that mothers who were children when they left, are stories they are telling to thier children

Well they called me to the Church a couple hours ago. I wonder what they want. Probably to clean the bathrooms or some thing like that.
To be honest I like the Church, but punishments can be very cruel. But then again they don't really take it hard on me because God told them that I was a saved angel and I need to be treated with respect.
Not really fair but rules are rules, I can't do anything about it.
I changed my clothes into the Church's uniforms.
It was a black t shirt and on top was a white jacket, with black pants and combat boots.
The uniform was weird but at least I dont have to spread my wings. I actually haven't seen them in a long time, to be honest. Its a good thing the only person who saw them died a long time ago. Glad I'll never see that bastard again.

-Flashback-
"I'm sorry but I have to go..." I told him.
"No you don't, you're choosing to go and leave." he replied.
" No! Its not like that-"
"It is very much like that!"
I was on the verge of tears...
Never had I thought he would betray me like this...
"Look I'm sorry, but you know I can't stay serving him. He destroyed my family"
"Well God is destroying you!"
Tears...
I couldn't see anything cause of the tears starting in my eyes...
"Look (Y/n)... You were meant to be here, serving Satan." he said.
"But I don't want to do that!"
I hugged him...
But he rejected.
Instead, he pushed me away.
"Leave" he said, ever so softly.
"What?"
"LEAVE! IF YOU DON'T WANT TO BE HERE, THEN LEAVE! WHO SAID WE EVER NEEDED YOU ANYWAYS!"
I left...
He was the only person I trusted...

THAT BASTARD! Good thing he died! I wouldn't have handled seeing him and his dumb face...
I turned to see the clock

5:32am

Crap I'm late... again...
Wonder what they're gonna tell me now.
I hurried to finish up, and went outside to go walk to the Church.
Once I got inside, I paid my respects and waited in the meeting room for the commander to arrive.

"(Y/N)?!" someone yelled as the commander walked into the room.
"Yes (Y/n)." he answered his Secretary.
"Ahh (Y/n) (L/n), it's so good to see you again. So (Y/n) tell me how have you've been?" the commander asked.
"I've been alright. One question though, what was I called for?"
"Sir, you can't let (Y/n) do this! She's just a-"
"Silence Ms.Yuma! You have no direction in telling me what I can and can not do. So if you please." The commander cut off his secretary.
"But Sir-"
"Yuma please go outside." the commander ordered.
And Ms.Yuma walked out of the room, leaving only you and the commander.
"Sorry for the interruption, now what was it you were saying?"
"Actually I just wanted to know why you called me here." I said rather bluntly.
"Ahh, yes of course. Well its about the Hero Emilia and Crystal Bell."
I was shocked. Did they die?! Oh please no! Crystal Bell has to live! Oh and the Hero... not really...
"What happened to them?!" I asked him.
"Well it seems they have sided with the Devil."
They sided with the Devil?! No way! I mean I can see the Hero doing that but not CB... Wait!
"Commander I'm sorry but THAT'S INSANE! They are dumb but they are not idiots who would side with the Devil! Its has to be a misunderstanding!" I yelled
"I know (Y/n) it seems almost impossible, but I can assure you it isn't. And since the others are no where to be found, well they said to sent another one. But this time a more trusted one. And who is more trustworthy than a saved angel named (Y/n)?"
"Sorry sir, I'm not following."
"(Y/n), I want you to go to the other dimension and kill the Devil!"
"Yes sir!" I saluted.
"You're leaving in an hour, you got that?! And remember Pain is nothing if you win, but if you lose, pain is all you're gonna get. No matter what God says."
"Yes sir... Well I'll go pack-"
"No need. You'll have to go without anything. Don't know how you are gonna do it, but you're gonna have to."
"Oh well, okay then see you in a while." I said and started walking to my house to plan out what I can do to the Devil.

--Time Skip of an hour-- brought to you by senpais not noticing me-- what a sad life--

I'm standing outside with the commander, waiting doe the portal to open. How much worse can this get...
As I looked up I saw the portal opening very slowly.

"Remember the portal opens slowly but closes very fast. So once you see it opening, go for it."

I was about to try going to the portal until commander grabbed my wrist.
"(Y/n) go to the portal to defeat Satan and everyone with him!"
I nodded.
I started to jump building to building, cause I wasn't about to use my wings.
I've gotten to the building closest to the portal and I saw that it was already closing...
I jumped the farthest I could of and went straight into the portal.
Right after I went in, it closed
Leaving only me to defeat Satan and everyone else with him.
