Magnus has been asking around for a week, and no one seems to know who Magnus' mysterious infatuation is. Now people have been talking about who they think it might be. They know that Magnus is looking for a guy with black hair, although, Magnus never mentions the indescribable blue eyes. Magnus knows that as soon as he makes contact with those perfect eyes, he'll know if its him or not. The public doesn't need to know that. Caterina walked up to Magnus with her backpack slung over one shoulder, and a clip board in her left hand.

"Ready Magnus?" Cat asked him. They were going to spend four hours auditioning kids for the spring play. Yes, it's November, but Cat says it takes a long time to get everything perfect.

"Sure." He replied, closing his locker.

Room 112, was a nice sized classroom, with no desks. It was a huge open space, adorned with spot lights hang from the ceiling, and black curtains covering the walls. A desk was set up at the back of the room, opposite to the door. A white spotlight was aimed at a space about two meters away from the table.

"Wow." Magnus said, taking his seat next to Cat. Caterina pulled out her laptop and opened it up. She took out a spiral bound note book and a box of pens.

"Here's the clip board." She slid the board to Magnus. He picked it up and examined the names.

"What do I have to do?" he asked.

"When an actor comes in, you ask for their name, than put a checkmark in the box next to the name. You are going to ask for their grade and write it next to their name. Understand?" Magnus nodded. Simple enough. "There were two audition pieces that they could have chosen from, so be ready to hear the same thing over and over again. Ready?"

"Yup."

"Laura!" Cat shouted. I pretty girl with blonde hair opened the room's door.

"You ready Cat?" Caterina nodded and Laura let the first actor into the room. Magnus looked him in the eyes, and knew it wasn't him. This boy had green eyes.

"What's your name and grade?" Magnus asked.

"Deven, eleven." The guy said. He was pretty good, but then again so were the other like, fifty guys who auditioned. After the last guy walked out of the room, Magnus tossed the clipboard onto the table. Laura walked into the room, and sat on the floor in the spotlight.

"I guess you didn't have a lot of fun?" Laura asked.

"It's not that. Everyone was great!"

"Meh." Said Cat. "Everyone was meh." Laura laughed.

"Actors are always judgers." Laura said to Cat, then she turned back to Magnus.

"I was hoping to find someone." He told her.

"Ah, your mysterious lover."

"Not my lover." Magnus mumbled.

"He totally is!" Cat said louder than she meant.

"I guess you got the short end of the stick today?" Laura asked.

"How can almost every grade eleven and twelve audition and yet he's no where to be found!"

"Maybe..." Laura said standing up and stretching. She motioned to the lights on her. "you're looking in the spotlight." She moved towards the door, opening it crack. A bit of light filled the almost pitch black room. "When you should be looking in the shadows." Laura left, closing the door, returning the room to it's black state, with only the one spotlight illuminating Magnus.
