Bored In History #3 22/11/11 - 11:15 AM (Tuesday)
Do you know what I don't get? I don't get pictures in history books. What if they're fake? How are we to know? With modern technology and make-up you can make anything look old and realistic. All you need is to take a photo in black and white or a brown coloured style and edit it a bit to make it look old and legit. I mean like in one photo there is a picture of people giving students food because of the lack of money in the great depression. A guy in the background looked EXACTLY like our history teacher, Mr Mannion. The same face and all. Even the massive height was the exact same. My whole class agreed with it and so did his other class. What if Mannion was asked to be in one of those pictures to help out with the text book? To make it seem legit? Anyway, we have a sub for history class today. I'm not sure of his actual name but everybody calls him Jebus. Everybody says he looks like Jesus but we decided that Jebus was better. He made me and my best friend, Marina, read from the textbook. He isn't very nice either. Marina is playing, once again, a weird game. It was something about a flag. I'm not sure if it was a game or just on a website for the history work. That reminds me, we are working from our favourite textbook again! It's the one with the pedo on the front. His face is so funny. The first time we were given that book, we cracked up. The text book we were ALWAYS given had somebody with Harry Potter crap on him. So like a scar and glasses and stuff. Every time we have this book we get the exact same one. You know at recess, before history, I told marina about 2 minutes before the bell that she had to do a history test. She freaked out. She said "Why didn't you tell me yesterday, I have to study." She got out her laptop, turned it on, panicked when the internet wasn't working, typed in when was the Harbour Bridge made, started to write stuff down, then I told her "Marina, I was joking, we don't have a test." I was laughing at her facial expression. Then when the bell rang and we were sitting in history I told her if you say gullible really slowly it sounds like banana. She tried it and said "No it doesn't" then she tried again. I was laughing so hard. I explained what had happened and told her that she was gullible. She understood then. Marina is now on the website that we have to go on for the work. I'm obviously not doing my work. Today is the 22nd of November 2011 and it's 11:32 am right now. When I started writing this it was 11:15 am. Marina is reading this right now… I just realised that Marina has a little red dot on her nose. It looks funny. It's nearly in the middle of her nose. Marina has drawn eyes and a moustache on her hand. She called it Mr Hairy Face. A few weeks ago she drew it on her and one on me. Mine was Mr Moustache Man. I tried taking a picture and our sub for health was just watching. My other friend Megan nudged me and I turned around to see him. He was laughing a little bit. I think he was amused. Well just a few minutes ago my stupid sub said "If you're not up to question 4 on Using Sources then you have to stay back at lunch." Stuff him. I'm on my laptop he won't see. He can get f-ed for all I care. I think Marina enjoys reading these things. In a way it's my thoughts. It's pretty much what I'm thinking about. Marina had detention yesterday. Last week on Wednesday, she poured water on my friend Nathaniel's head. It was pretty funny even though he is my friend, he deserved it because he always calls Marina a cow. Marina is editing a picture of me. The caption is "Ugly monster right there."
