A/n: Hey guys, I edited this so it's a little better, thanks for reading.
I played with the blue straw, sipping my mint frappe, while following the story.. It's at an intense moment, I've been waiting for ... like.. 2 days now.. Its a book I found interesting a few weeks back, and now I'm reading like a mad man. The main character was about to discover the secret behind his birth..
Only a few pages and everything was going to be revealed.. I kept reading with big eyes, breathing slowly, praying that this time he'll be successful.. I was so distracted, that I didn't even notice there was a guy who had taken the seat across from me.
I could feel a presence..and that the person was staring at me intently. Was I imagining things?? There were lots of people in the coffee shop anyway.. I Didn't want to stop reading to check so I continued to read.
The person got up and came closer to me, I can feel him right beside me, staring down at me and then suddenly, my book got torn away from my hands. I look up to see its a guy, and my book was in his hand.
"Yah!" I yelled, glaring up at him like he was a freak, and yes, he was since who takes other people's books like that?
"Oh... isn't this the book in which the main character is the son of the old man that was killed in the woods by the vampire?" The unknown man, said, smiling widely at me like he's just won some fort of prize.
Staring at him expressionless, I heave a deep sigh before speaking, "Well.... Thank you!"
"Yes, this is the one! Great book, trust me!"
"Since I know the ending already.. there's no need to keep reading.." I rolled my eyes and grab my book back. I was going to take my time and read carefully to know the damn truth but this unknown man had to ruin everything, great, just great.
The man's eyes widen, giving me an innocent glare.. Then he got all red and ran his fingers through his hair, stuttering.."I didn't.. I mean.. sorry.. I .. too excited.. and.."
"Never mind." I huffed, placing my book on the table and sipping my frappe again. Today is a bad day, I can feel it.
The man went back to his table a few rows down to grab his coffee and came back to sit across from me. He then took a sip of his coffee, and maybe because it was too hot, or something, he burned his lips and spilled the liquid all over the table and on the floor.. I had my mp3 player set out too, and I just notice that now. Shoot, now it's all wet. Damn.
I gave him a death glare and checked on it if the device was still working.. Guess what? It was dead, even if I tried turning it on, it wasn't responding. I just couldn't believe this.. Was this my 'lucky' day?? I took my bag and stood up. If I stay longer, my life might be in danger. I lead off to the exit, blaming the guy for ruining my almost perfect day.
I stood outside looking for a taxi, when it started raining.. Nothing unusual since it was the middle of October.. Still I didn't bring my umbrella and now I'm in trouble. Next time, I should Never trust those weather news again.. I took a few steps, turning right, holding my bag above my head to try and prevent any rain from getting to my hair.
I heard someone running behind me and then a small hand was resting on my shoulder.. I turned around and saw the unknown man from earlier in the cafe, trying to calm down his breath.. He seems out of breath, maybe he should go to the gym.
"I am really sorry for the player.. Can I buy you another?" He asked, taking similar steps with me as we walked in the rain.
I'd love a new player, but this is a stranger, so.."It's ok.. Excuse me please.."
