New Day . (Komento)

My stomach growled as the sun peeks through the boards of the abandoned apartment Koko and I were staying at. Damnitt I overslept. I hurried up and threw on my longsleeved black shirt and leggings and rushed to the roof. The setting sun waits for me. A giggle escaped my mouth before I could catch it. I sighed and sat Indian style facing the rising sun and began to meditate. then before long my body began to move itself and the energy flowed through me and my body contorted into different positions and thus began my morning Yoga routine. After at least an hour I heard a soft applause coming from behind me. I quickly jumped up from downward dog and faced my intruder. "Hahahahha Sheesh calm down Komento. It's me." I glared at Koko and stared her down. 'It's Komi. You know I hate Komento Kohtalo.' I mind linked her. She shuddered. "Ew you're right. Lets not do that again." We both laughed and then she got serious. "You know that they are onto us right.?" I just looked down and allowed my naturally white and pink bangs to cover my face and I nodded. 'When will they be here?' I mind linked her and watched as she gazed into the distance unable to hear me. And the countdown begins. She has a minute before I have to command her back into the present. I counted to 60 in my head and looked back at her. She still hasn't come too. I look into her eyes and they have gone completely purple and cloudy. Shit, she's farther gone then I thought. I take a deep breath to prepare myself for what I am about to do. I close my eyes then reopen them. I know my Crystal blue color is gone and it replaced by deep amber and I speak sternly and clearly. "Kohtalo enough. Come back to the present." I say this and watch as her  purple eyes clear of the strange mist and turn back to her natural midnight color. She shakes her head and then gives me a sheepish smile. I nod and smile at her. 'What did you see' I mind link her and she laughed. "You know it only works with commands, you can ask questions." I just glared at her. 'It is better to be safe than sorry.' She laughs again. "Okay mom." I just look down. She clears her throat as if she had something to say then looks distant though just as if she is in deep thought. "They will be here in 10 minutes. I don't know why he is still hunting us." She begins to put all of her hair into her baseball cap and miraculously it all fits and I still don't know how because her hair goes down to her knees. Ugh. I just throw mine into a pony and attempt to put on a ski mask to hide my face and white hair from what we are about to do before Koko stops me. "You need to be able to speak. The vision was blurry but this is not an ordinary fight like we are used to." I sighed and took off my mask. Damn, this is going to be bad, if she is making me speak. I run back to the room we were staying in and trash it. Make it look like a struggle for when the police see the bodies. Then I go to the wall and pull out dad's rifle and mom's knives that Koko and I taught ourselves how to use. I was snipe, she was hand to hand. Although we are capable of doing both she prefers to rough them up before I kill them. I snicker as I hand the knives to Koko. She just smiles. 'Where will they be coming from.' I ask and she waits. 'North' she mind links me back. They must be close. We hurry to the roof and I aim my gun to the North and wait. Koko and I have altered our sleep pattern so to be able to fight, because the things that killed our parents only attack at night.  The mist set in. 'They're here.' I waited. There were shapes in the horizon. I waited until I could make out a figure and I aimed for the head. When I pulled the trigger it fell and hell broke loose. The creatures attacked like bats out of hell and I watched as the creatures targeted me and didn't notice Koko. I just kept shooting. One shot kills. I watched as the one that scaled the building went to jump on me, Koko landed on its back and you could hear its animalistic scream and as it died the fur and teeth faded away and the corpse turned human. There were more coming. "Komi we have to run. If we stay we die. I looked." I looked towards her and I nodded sharply and grabbed the remaining ammo and we ran. The back allies are filled with places to hide and we only have a few hours until sunlight. We jumped three fences and ran into the forest. After running for ten minutes we found a large bleeding tree and climbed into it and hid in its branches. I could hear the creatures and I put a force field around Koko and I and took a deep breath. "Hide us tree." The tree began to morph and its sap oozed and we became completely concealed by the tree when 2 men ran from the right of us and the creatures came up under us from the left. "They are important." I heard koko say but she was unable to look into the future now or we would be vulnerable. The tallest one tilted his head up towards us. His Emerald eyes pierced mine and I felt a sudden attachment to him. I felt protective. How? My eyes snapped up when the creatures came and I knew this was going to be a bloodbath and I looked at Koko who had already retucked her hair and. Looks like she has the same idea. I touched the tree and muttered a soft thank you too it and said "release" softly.  "NOW LET'S KICK SOME ASS!" She yelled and I laughed and we both jumped in front of the guys. She held her knives ready to attack and I grabbed the pistol out of my belt and aimed. Each shot killed another thing and when they were all dead I turned around to the guys and looked at them. The shorter one had sunglasses on, even though it was the dead of night and the taller one had no shirt on but a tattoo on his chest. When I continued to look up, which took a while because he was like hella tall, I was met with the most beautiful pair of emerald eyes and he growled. I took a step back. He's one of them. I reached for the gun but he had me in his arms before I could get to it. "Mine," he growled. I jumped as my body was encased with tingles. I punched him in three pressure points quickly and brought him to my level, even though he was a good foot taller than me. Maybe even more. His pupils dilated and he growled louder. My body trembled and I looked at koko only to see her standing in shock. She stood there staring directly at the other man and before I could say or do anything he was by her side and had a hold of her arm. She gasped and began to hyper ventilate and I watched helplessly as her eyes rolled to the back of her head and she collapsed, her cap falling off and her black hair spilling over the mossy ground. What's going on?! "YOU STOP!" I screamed as he went to pick her up and he froze. I have a good 5 minutes before that wares off. I ran to Koko and began to pick her up when she was snatched away from me and I was thrown to the other side of the clearing and I hit a tree. The last thing I remember before I blacked out was the tingles.
