Chapter one:Turn up the Volume

Prolouge
After the great war between Storm and Star Queen, Stormguard versus Gythian...The Star Queen Celeste Etherealm and her brother, General of the Star raiders,Vox Etherealm together fled the chaos that the war bringed upon them.

After having to face their own father in his wicked mind controlling mecha suit and being forced to end his life,the war ended with Stormguard taking over large parts if Gythian territory. Many Gythian started to doubt in their queen...but Vox remained loyal to her sister.

Until she gave up her eyes to "The Vyn", a mythical beast in the form of a horde of ravens...carrying the memories of the Star Queens before her as well as after her. But this sacrifice did not only cost Celeste her eyes...but also her brother, after the ritual...Celeste became like a completely different person.

The happy,cheerfully and Quirky Celeste was gone...now all that was left of her was a Ruthless queen who seeked revenge for those who took over her rightful kingdom. In order to make Celeste understand what she has become,Vox joins the Stormguard in hopes that Celeste will realise her mistakes and find another way around instead of war.

But Alas, so wrong he was, for Celeste only gathered an army of Gythians and prepared for a return...to claim her properties.

Stormguard base
Vox walked through the corridors slowly after Catherine, peeking inside the rooms as he walked by. In one room a few males, all suited up un their white and blue Stormguard uniform were fighting each other with light metal poles. Another room was filled with Stormguards, chatting around about everything from the best looking Stormguard to tales of their latest missions
"Where are we going?" Vox asked Catherine as they continued to walk. "Etherealm...Are you familiar with the name Ardan Etherealm?" Catherine asked,not bothering to look at him this time and completely ignoring his question.

Flashback
"Dad!" Vox exclaimed as Ardan grabbed him,shielding him from the burst of heat which swiftly ripped apart limb after limb. And in the blink of an eye...Ardan was gone. All because of Celeste,his own sister and commander of the stars...now laying on the dirty ground,passed out.
Vox opened his eyes slowly,not feeling his fathers embrace anymore and started to panic,looking around in shock as the entire town was in flames. Vox felt the fear building up in his chest and let out a scream in fear. Soon after,there was a large shockwave in front of him followed by an ear shattering sound. "Dad?!" Vox exclaimed,holding for his ears as the sound slowly faded away. "Brother...Im sorry." A faint voice said behind him and Vox turned around,glaring at Celeste. "He's gone." Celeste continued,standing up on all fours,breathing heavily. Vox couldn't belive his ears as he heard this and shook his head in denial. "No! I don't belive you!" Vox screamed out,feeling how the sound around him became visible for him as a yellowish substance which floated around in his atmosphere. "What's...happening?" Vox asked himself and stood up,feeling dizzy. Vox saw in his blurred vision how Celeste stood up slowly and reached out her hand towards him,a pink light emerging from her hand. "Forgive me..." Celeste said and channelled her powers through her body,launching a star piece towards his head. "NO!" Vox screamed out,feeling the sound around him ball up in his hands. "No...forgive ME sister." Vox said and launched the sound as a wave towards Celeste,sending both her and the star piece away as a few windows shattered...then everything went black.

The Stormguard base
"Newbie! Newbie! Do you hear me?" Catherine asked,crossing her arms across her chest,glaring at Vox as he was pulled back into reality. "Yes Captain!" Vox said and bowed slightly and standing back up. "I asked...are you familiar with the name Ardan Etherealm?" Catherine asked again,placing her hands on her hips. Vox stood in silence for a moment before he spoke, "Yes Captain, Ardan Etherealm...was my father." Vox said,crossing his arms across his chest. Catherine seemed rather confused with his answer and kept gazing at him. "What do you mean...WAS your father?" Catherine asked,seeming shocked with his answer. "Yes...My father was brutally erased from this world by the hands of my sister" Vox mumbled, accedently making the sound around him tense up a bit,making Catherine amd a few Stormguards cover their ears,trying to silence the ear shattering sound which soon faded away as Vox calmed down. "Sorry Captain...But I'd rather not talk about it." Vox said and looked down at the ground. Catherine nodded and continued to walk,not saying a word.

The loud cheers of Stormguards slowly faded away as Catherine leaded Vox deeper and deeper into the Stormguard base. "Yo, where are we going?" Vox asked,shoving his hands in his pockets. "To the rest of your squad." Catherine responded and dialed in a code as the heavily armored door opened. "Once you stepped in...you are officially a Stormguard and will serve and Protect the Fold with your life." Catherine said sternly and put her glove back on.

Vox peered in through the door,seeing a brown haired woman,possibly in her twenties if judging her by her looks. She wore a black tank top and olive sweatpants.
"Oh! You're a new face around here aren't you? My name is Skriana Vywernsteel, but please call me Skye." The woman said and curtsied.
"Skye is our finest recruit...you better not screw up and bring her a bad rep." Catherine said,sitting down on a marble bench. "So...have you made your decision yet...Vorgiux Etherealm?" Catherine asked,smirking fiendishly at Vox.
Vox flinched as he heard his full name but he shrugged it off and nodded. "Yes Captain...I,Vorgiux Etherealm hereby swear to protect the Fold and show no mercy to whomever tries to assault it. I, as a Stormguard...shall guard the fold from Gythian and Beastkin invaders. Long live the Stormguard." Vox said out,using his own magic to amplify the sound of his voice.

After these words...he stepped inside the room and greeted Skye.
