Chapter 4

Ash POV:

I ran upstairs and hit MAson over the head and he dropped to the ground and let of of Zoey "Zoey are you okay?" i asked her as i sat down she looked at Mason passed out on the floor then me and she just started crying even more so i pulled her in a hug and said "its okay im here he wont hurt you his leaving tomorrow" Ash said and you could hear that he was worried, "come on you spend the night at my house our mums have a night shift my mum just texted me so your staying with me" and she just noded she stood up and grabbed her phone and some change of clothes "take undies and a bra you can have a shower" she did what i said and i took her to my house, then i ran back and Mason was still out and i called the police when they arrived he was conscious

"young man what happened here?" they male polic officer asked me "i just dropped off my neighbour Zoey because we went out for coffee he was there but left, anyway so she went in her house i went in mine and i was making my way to my room when i heard her scream so i ran to my room ad saw MAson have her by the throat her feet werent touching the ground and her face was going red....." and i told them what happened they took it all down "wheres Zoey now?" they asked me and i pointed to my room "shes in the shower at my house our mothers have the night shift so she's going to spend the night with me" i said looking them in their eye "thank you young man dont let her out of you sight" and with that they walked out so i locked up the house

When i got back she was sitting on my bed and i went and sat next to her " hey thanks Ash i don't know what would have happened if you didn't come" she said and hugged me i just hugged her "no problem, im really sorry what he said to you about your dad and what he did to you" i said she just looked at me " i know that i don't know what happened to your dad but what ever happened i know it's not because of you" i said to her looking in her eyes and she look away and just hugged me tighter "he committed suicide" she said slowly and i just kept quiet "he did it because he was going through depression and he felt trapped with his job and felt like he failed as a father" she started crying and i just hugged her tighter " he spent his last minutes with me and my mum" she said through crys "if you dont mind me asking how did he do it?" i asked her and she just sat on my lap " he jumped in front of an oncoming bus, we did everything he wanted he brought me loads of things and brought heaps of jewelry for my mum and i his last word were i love you both i want you live and be free never forget that, my mum and i said we love you too and he hugged us really tight an then let go and said i love you and walked in front of the bus he died on the spot and thats when mum and i figured out that's why he did all of this today lucky mum had his phone to check his gallery and we found the bus timetable he jumped in front of" she said sobbing and dug her head into my neck and i let her

Zoey POV:
