Chapter 2

I have chosen my outfit for the day (outfit above). It is pretty casual because I don't like to dress fancy. I have to walk to school since my aunt and uncle leave earlier than me but that's okay because it's only a 10 minute walk. As I become closer to the school, I become more and more nervous.
What will people think of me?
Will anyone like me?
What are the teachers like?
When I reach the school I ask a friendly looking girl with dark hair where the office is. She showed me where it is and than said "By the way, I'm Allison.". "Well thanks for showing me the office, Allison. I'm y/n." I reply. "Cool I'll see you around. Bye.". "Bye."
Well she seems nice.

I walk in the office and collect my schedule, locker number and lock.

I have 25 minutes until my first class so before going to my locker I'm going to explore the school a bit. After a few minutes I find myself in the library. There was a group of guys and girls that were drawing attention to themselves and bickering. I awkwardly stood next to a big shelf of books, watching them from afar. I looked at the individually.

The first guy had dark and seemed to have all the other's attention. The second guy had a buzz cut and some moles on his face. Then I saw the girl that showed me where the office was, Allison. The other girl had strawberry blonde hair and seemed like a girly girl, according to her outfit. The last guy caught my attention quite a bit. He was tall, handsome, wore a scarf, but didn't seem like the cocky type. I think one of them said something funny because they all started laughing, but the last guy seemed like he was forcing his laugh.

Our eyes connected and straight away, I could tell from his eyes, he was hurt.
