Amy decided to work with spindle before he got sent home. The next morning Amy sent spindle home because he was ready to go home. Maddie came out of the house and watched Amy load spindle into the trailer. Then Maddie asked Amy why spindle was being sent home. Amy told Maddie that she was done working with him so he was being sent home.
Then Maddie and Amy wanted to go for a ride on Pegasus. Pegasus was Amy's dads horse. But when Tim got badly hurt Pegasus had to give up his whole career of racing. Tim left when Amy was three years old and when Lou was eight. But he came back when he heard that Amy was pregnant with Maddie.
