Hush

From across the window

Still standing there looking at the paper connecting the dots she darted down the stairs passing her brother "It's 11:30 at night why are you playing music so freaking loud!" he yelled out

Ignoring him she continued to sprint down the stairs but before she knew it her mom who was answering the door

Standing there his hair perfectly placed wearing a regular black v neck and grey sweats hanging low on his hips that still showed off his body she stared

Standing at the edge of the stairs leaning against the side she stood there watching him pushing his charm on her mother

"Oh honey there you are! This is Asher he just came by to introduce himself and told me that you were playing your music extremely loud" her mother said giving her a death glare gesturing her to shake his hand

"Hi" she said making sure that it came out cold

"Hey I'm Asher" he said to her smiling

"Eli get down here!" Her mother shouted

Eli making his way down the stairs walked passed me standing in front of Asher

"Hey man how are you? I'm Eli, go to school around here?" He said smoothly

"Yea actually go to San Francisco state, close to home and I have internships and scholarships so it's a win win really"

"Awesome, my sister and I just came from Colorado so we had to switch colleges from there to San Francisco state" Eli said making conversation

The two chatting it up ended with a simultaneous hug and handshake

Still standing there Sahara awkwardly on her phone pretending not to be fazed that he was standing in front of her

Annoyed she gave an awkward wave as has he left but before she could turn for the stairs he flashed his head back in "oh and I forgot to remind you please turn the music down" he said flashing her a devilish smile before turning out the door

Obviously the expression on her face was readable because her mother gave a her stern look "you could be alittle more polite you know"

Wow her own mother she thought annoyed walking back up the stairs into her room straight to the speakers she grabbed her phone from the slot and turned off her music

Feeling eyes on her she wanted to look toward the window but just fought against it and after being around the stereo for a few more seconds she couldn't stand it she needed to look

There he was on his window his arms crossed at the edge of the window

She moved towards her window in a confident stride but before she could even make it he shouted

"Your move!" He smiled and turned away turning his lights off

No he didn't she thought astonished

Standing there appalled she crossed her room towards her switch and turned off the lights now in complete darkness

Making her way to her bed she laid down staring at the ceiling, at nothing almost just the shine of the moon

This was going to be a problem she thought, her life can never just be average
