Eireland's POV

I stared at the black dragon with wide eyes. Its body was steaming as the cold air brushed against its scales. Blood was on the ground around us, but I couldn't find any wounds. I walked up to it cautiously; afraid it would jump up and eat me. The heat got more intense as I got closer. Pluto looked down at me in his hound form and whined. Sebastian stepped up beside me, his own eyes wide in amazement. Ciel and Grell both walked up on my other side. Grell looked like he was about to pass out, his sharp-toothed grin to his ears. Ciel just looked very confused. Pluto nuzzled at the dragon's snout and then turned human, pawing at its scales. It let out a groan and its mouth twitched. Its eyes slowly opened and focused on us. Large blue eyes stared at us with confusion. For some odd reason, I didn't feel scared though, I felt safe and familiar with this creature. The dragon lifted its large head and looked at the others. Its eyes lingered on Sebastian and I quickly recognized the gaze. That's when it clicked.

"Hunter?!" I gasped. Its gaze snapped back to me and its head tilted. "Oh my god, why are you a dragon?" She opened her mouth to speak, but instead of hearing her voice out loud, I heard it in my head. By the other's reactions, I knew they could too.

"I don't know... It just... happened..." she responded. She stood up and I gawked in amazement. Her serpentine body was long and lean. Her scales shone in the dim light of the moon. Her eyes seemed to glow in the dark. She looked down at us and tilted her head. "You guys are so small." She chuckled.

"I know I'm short, but you're a freaking dragon so of course I look small!" I called up to her. We heard her voice laughing in our heads, her lips pulled back in a smile. I shuddered as I noticed how sharp her teeth were.

"Can we go home? I don't want to be in the open anymore." She asked a slight hint of fear in her voice. She looked up and around. "How far is the manor?" Sebastian stepped up and looked up at her, his eyebrows drawn together. I guess he was still trying to comprehend what was going on.

"It's two hours away if we walk on foot." He said. She frowned but almost instantly after, her eyes lit up with an idea.

"Then we'll fly!" she crouched low on the ground, making it so her back was closer to us. "Hop on!" I walked up, but the others hesitated. I sighed and climbed up her side onto her back. As soon as I touched her scales, a shock of energy shot through my body, making me gasp. She gasped as well, which I assumed she felt the same shock. She looked back at me in curiosity. Her eyes were glowing purple. A glowing purple mark shone on her forehead. When my eyes widened she blinked and looked at me. "Did you feel that too?" She asked, then her eyes widened. "Eireland, your eyes! They're glowing purple!" she gasped.

"Your eyes are too," Ciel said his voice soft. He was still getting over his shock. Hunter frowned and went cross-eyed, trying to see her eyes. "Let's just get back to the manor. We can discuss this there." He said frustration in his voice. Hunter nodded and the others got on her back. We all grabbed onto the spike in front of us and gripped tightly. She stood up, the movement feeling like a camel getting up.

"Hold on." She said, her wings opening to their full length. Completely spread out, they were about 25 feet on both sides, making a 50 foot wing span. Her wings began to beat the air, making dirt and dust fly up, the trees around us bowing away from us. She began to lift off the ground, her body moving up and down opposite of her wings. Once high enough, she angled herself upward, making us head into the sky, till we were just below the clouds. She straightened out and began to glide on the air, the clouds around us making our skin damp. I looked at all the buildings down below, looking like doll houses from up here. Thank god it was night time, or else people would have been terrified to see a dragon as big as Hunter. I stared ahead of us, watching out for the manor. In a matter of minutes, it began to grow in size, from looking like a dot to an actual mansion. Hunter angled her body down, her wings slightly folding as we heading toward the ground. She spread her wings and slowly beat the air, making us drop to the ground. She landed on her feet then lay down, dropping one wing on the ground. The others all slid off and slid down to the ground. I noticed a teeny tiny smile on Ciel's lips. I didn't bother to get off though, this was too cool.

"Eireland are you coming?" Ciel asked, looking up at me.

"Oh yeah, just give me a minute." I said, smiling. He sighed and nodded, before walking inside, Sebastian following after a quick goodnight to us. Grell tried to follow them in, but was stopped when Sebastian slammed the door in his face.

"What is the meaning of this?!" Grell whined, stomping his foot. He let out a high pitched squeal when Hunter lifted him by the collar of his jacket with her teeth. She then turned and began to walk away from the manor. She dropped him on the other side of the closed gates. He scrambled to his feet and pulled out his chainsaw.

"It means that you have to leave." Hunter said bluntly, breathing out a puff of smoke. He coughed and waved his arms around, but we were already walking back towards the manor. We both laughed quietly when we heard him scream in frustration then storm off. Hunter glanced back at me, her jaws pulled back in a toothy grin. "Well I have no idea how to turn human, so I guess I'm stuck out here until then." She said, chuckling. I laughed softly, shrugging my shoulders.

"We'll figure this out Hunter. We'll get you back to normal." I said. She shook her head, rolling her eyes.

"What if I like being a dragon? I mean who wouldn't?" she said, flexing her talons. She then walked towards the manor, grabbing hold of the stone and crawling up the side of it. I gripped tightly to the spike, feeling my body try to fall backwards. We made it to the roof and she settled down, her tail dangling off the side of it.

"Hey I just realized something." She tilted her head in question. "Ciel said we would discuss this when we got back to the manor, yet we didn't. What the hell Ciel? Hey that rhymed!" I said, laughing. She laughed as well and spread out her wings, stretching.

"Oh well, nothing we can do about it. But you need to go to bed. I'm still mad at you for leaving me for Claude." She teased. I smiled sadly and crawled off her back. As I did, a cold shiver passed through my body, her body shaking at the same time. Her eyes slowly lost their purple glow and I knew mine did as well. The mark on her forehead slowly faded away as well. I sighed and walked to the edge of the roof. She lifted me onto her wing and carefully lowered me to my balcony. I slid off and waved to her goodnight. She smiled before disappearing back onto the roof. I opened the doors and headed into the room, closing them behind me. The only thing I saw was her bladed tail swaying side to side out my window. I changed into a clean nightgown and crawled into bed, pulling the covers up. Before I fell asleep I heard a balcony door open a few rooms down and Ciel yelled out.

"Can you please refrain from climbing up the side of my manor?!"

I fell asleep right after.
